Shattered Life(ON HOLD)

~Chapter 13~

"Sunshine are you awake?" I'm pretty sure he knows the answer to that, even though I keep my eyes closed.

I hear a sigh come out from him before he walks closer to my bed. He sits down at the edge of my bed. "I'm so sorry Sunshine, I've been a douche to you lately."

I open my eyes and get up into a sitting position, ignoring the seconds of dizziness. He turns his head towards me, a sad expression on his face. As much as I want to be angry at him I can't. All I want to do is erase the sadness he feels. Sure he was being immature about the whole us almost kissing thing, but I still want to be his friend. I slowly move towards him and place my hand awkwardly on his shoulder.

He removes my hand, causing me to frown. He places a gental kiss on my hand. A small blush forms as I clear my throat. He laughs at my attempt to hide my blush from him. "Luce del sole tu sei proprio bella." he whispers.

I tilt my head to the side, confused as to what he just said. "Sunshine what.....happened out there?"

I lower my head, ashamed that he saw me like that. "You don't have to answer, I know you don't trust me yet but when you do, I'll be there to listen." I give him a small smile but it quickly turns into a frown as I feel the pills working. I lean against him as he wraps his arm around me.

"Sarò sempre lì per te." I hear him whisper before I fall into a blissful sleep.

*I sigh, stretching as I awake from a dreamless sleep. I look around my room and spot a small piece of paper on my desk. I feel the color drain from me as I remember the note and rose left for me last night. I quickly reach for the paper. I close my eyes for a second, preparing myself for the worst.

Sunshine,

Left while you were asleep. Hope you have a wonderful sleep, you look like you needed one. If you can meet me in the woods at 12:05, to spend the day with me. I guarantee you won't regret it.

A goofy smile replaces my worried smile. I lay back down and think about what the blue eyed boy has planned today. I place the worried voice at the back of my mind. I could have imagined the man, the rose and the note. I keep telling myself.

I close my eyes again, after checking the time. Three hours before I have to get ready. Enough time to sleep more.

(Three hours later)

I walk outside, after Fariha informs me that father and the others went out to spend "family time". My hand shakes a little as I walk to where the note and rose was placed. Nothing. That's what I find, absolutely nothing. Could I have imagined it? Did someone else find it?

Nervousness forms in the pit of my stomach. Though I quickly calm down, knowing that I have to see Jace in while. The spring breeze touches my skin. Flowers bloom, birds chrip, and the sun shines brightly on this day. The day that I get to spend with the blue eyed boy.

I walk in the backyard towards the hidden path that leads to the woods. I keep on walking enjoying the nice feeling of peacefulness for the first time in forever. My lips stretch into a smile at the sight of the blue eyed boy standing near a bug oak tree, waiting along with his twin and best friend.

Happiness, a feeling I enjoy. A feeling these people standing in front of me bring. I lift my hand and give them a small wave.

"Well hello there Sunshine. How do you do?" I laugh at him and nod my head to tell him I'm okay.

"Evellis!" Blaze ans Grace crush me in a hug. Guess I'm not the only one that was missing our time together.

"Next time you and Mr.Idiot get into a fall out, don't go avoiding us cause we're still your friends no matter what." Grace says in a stern voice. I smile at her sheepishly.

Since Jace was avoiding, I had thought Grace and Blaze were no longer ny friends. Having friends after all was still sorta new to me.

Blaze ruffles my hair, after letting go of me. I playfully glare at him while smoothing down my hair. I look over at the boy who makes all these crazy feelings stir inside me. He's looking down at the ground with a solemn expression.

I move towards him and tilt my head, wondering what's wrong.

I gently tap his shoulder. His eyes connect with mine, leaving me once again mesmerized. To my suprise and to his, he pulls me closer to him. As his arms wrap around me tingles spread throughout my body.

"I'm so sorry Sunshine, I missed you." he murmurs into my hair. My arms stay at my side fro a couple of seconds before I, with a slight bit of hestiation, wrap them around him as I bury my head into his chest

A cough snaps us out of whatever moment we were having. "Guys aren't we suppose to be going somewhere, to do something?" Blaze asks, giving Jace a secretive look.

I look at Blaze and then at Jace, waiting for him to explain where we're going. A secretive smile forms on his face, confirming me that he's not going to explain.

Jace interwines his hand with mine and pulls me to start walking. "Prepare to have the best day of your life." he flashes me an award winning smile before continuing to pull me along. Considering how my life's been so far, I have a feeling this just might be the best day of my life.
