"But I'm only human

And I bleed when I fall down

I'm only human

And I crash and I break down

Your words in my head, knives in my heart"

The moments I shared with Grace and Jace where special. They where like a dream. Though all dreams must come to an end. Even though we might wish to stay in the dream, we can't. So as the door bell rings at three in the afternoon, reality comes crushing down on me.

Father stands at the other side of the door with an annoyed expression. However he quickly masks it with a smile as he sees Grace and Jace walking behind me. Jace had told me a mere second before the door bell rang that he had left a message on father's voicemail telling him about my whereabout.

After father and I said our goodbyes to the Daniel twins and once their front door had closed, he grips my arm forcefully. He drags me to the car and once we're in the car he takes in my appearance. "Such a beautiful dress should be worn by a beautiful girl, not by someone like you." father says with cruelty laced in to his words. I flinch a little at his words. My heart throbs, father always hurts me the most with his harmful words.

The car ride to the house is filled with an uncomfortable silence. When we arive home, I get out of the car and wait patiently inside the house for father's punishment. Father enters and immediately hauls me upstairs to my room. He then locks me in the room, prohibited me from eating dinner and breakfast.

"What did I do to deserve a daughter like her?" he mutters to himself before walking away from the door. His footsteps echo through the hallway until he walks downstairs.

I sigh as I walk up the spiral staircase. I locate my art supplies and lug them down the stairs. I move my bed from the wall that faces the bedroom door. I'm careful to not bump my head on the spiral staircase since the bed is practically underneath it.

As soon as the bed is removed, I change out of Grace's clothes in to an old pair of black sweatpants and a worn out t-shirt. I then undo the braid and tie my hair up in to a messy bun. I lay out a large sheet of plastic to avoid getting paint on the floor. I open up my black, blue, green, white, brown, grey, and red cans of paint while taking out my seven paint brushes from the box.

After getting napkins from the box, I dip the large paint brush in to the black paint can. I bring the paint brush to the wall and soon my hand starts moving smoothly. I get lost in my own world as I continue to paint, moving back and forth to change the size of the paint brush and color.

**By the time I'm done painting, paint stains cover my clothes, arms, and face. I take a step back and take a good look at my artwork. My mother was an extraordinary artist. I inherited her artistic ability.

What was once a plain white wall, is now covered in different colors. The wall ,that served as my canvas, has a painted black-blue night sky background with white stars, a big oak tree in the middle of a meadow covered in roses, and a grey stone path leading in to the unknown.

After a couple of minutes studying the texture of the painting, I clean up the mess I made. I then walk in to the bathroom that is located near my wardrobe. Fifteen minutes later I step out of the white marble shower. I carefully walk on the marble tiles, after wrapping a towel around myself, making sure not to slip.

I exit the bathroom after brushing my teeth. I walk to the closet that the new maid already organized. I bet it didn't take long due to the few clothes I own. I walk out of the closet wearing a black tee of a wolf and black pajama pants. I slowly open the French doors to the balcony before stepping out.

A shiver goes through my body as my bare feet make contact with the balcony floor. The fairytales of a prince rescuing a princess that my mother use to tell me goes through my mind. The thought of a prince rescuing me from this life goes through my head, but I quickly dismiss it. Like father told me before, no one will ever love me for I just cause damage.

As I get near the railing something catches my eye. I feel my heart drop as I realize what the thing is. So many questions go through my head in an instance. How? Why? When? And the final thought causes me to fall to my knees. Not again.

I take in an unsteady breath as I crawl to the large outdoor flower pot. I kneel in front of the pot, hidden by the white roses is an ivory envelope. I press my lips in a thin line to stop the sob that threatens to come out. I take out the envelope from the intertwined roses. My hand automatically reaches up to my necklace. I grip it tightly before I let it go.

A sigh escapes from my lips as I look at my name written in cursive on the envelope. I slowly open the envelope. I then take out the thin tan color paper that the envelope contains. Minutes pass before I find the courage to unfold the letter.

My sweet butterfly,

I'm so sorry for my absence in your life. It's been a lonesome year for you hasn't it? So much has happened since the last time I wrote to you. Though your still as beautiful as ever. Every day, minute, and second is painful for me without having you.

I miss your cries of agony so much. The way the adrenaline would run through my veins everytime I use to struck you. The way your blood would flow down your back creating small puddles. The beautiful scars I would create.

I hope your okay from the fall that happened in the woods. That boy was so nice to you a little too nice if you ask me. I'm so excited my sweet Evellis, I will soon have you in my arms and this time you will never leave my side my love.

Your,

One and only

P.S. These four butterflies remind me of you. You where set free or rather escaped, but since the first day you let out your first cry you have belonged to me.

Okay I'm so sorry if this chapter is short.

Wattpad story of the day~ Library Love by kpgcatlover:

Dewey Decimal Daniels.

That isn't a name you would expect a girl to have, is it?

Thanks to her parents, who first met at the small town's library, she's stuck with the name. But no matter how ironic it may be, she's absolutely in love with the library. She volunteers there as much as she possibly can during the summer and school months.

This summer wasn't supposed to be any different. She was only going to volunteer, and read, nothing more, nothing less. Until the last book she had to read, was checked out by the town's well-known delinquent, Leo Steele. What will happen when he ends up losing the book before he can return it?

Well, let's just say they're both going to have one crazy summer of adventure, books, and maybe a bit of love.

This story is another story by one of my favorite writers. Kpgcatlover is a genious for having created another spectacular story.

Question of the day:

Have you ever experienced a moment when you felt you heart drop?

Yes I have when my puppy almost got run over by a car. I felt as if I stopped breathing, but luckily he was saved. Though he is no longer with me. Okay random question time. If you have a puppy or any other pet what's his/her name and does it have a reason why he/she is named that?
