"Hey ma'am , ma'am let me help you" This young woman , in her 20's just came in looking beat and out of it. "What's your name?" I ask her "Reece, I I need to lay down..." she stumbles but I hold her up and bring her to an open room than help her on the bed "May I ask what happened?" "I was kidnapped , raped , beaten and my Kidnapper let me go. I'm in pain but I don't want to get addicted to anything" Reece closes her eyes and puts her head back on the pillow "Okay Reece , I'm going to get you some pain medication and I need to do an exam, Is there anyone you would like me to call for you?" The numbers are in my cell" Reece hands me a cell phone and I find the people she wants to be contacted "I'll be right back ma'am" Walking out of the room I go to the phone and dial Lee Adamson's number , The phone is immediately picked up. Lee: Hello? Me: Yes , I have a Reece here. No last name was given but she wanted me to contact you and a Briasia Jones Lee: who is this? Me: My name is Kendria Jacobson I work at Grand Bry hospital. I hang up the phone and go to the medicine supply room to get my patient some pain killers. She looks a mess , I can tell someone put her through hell. "Here you go sweetie" handing my patient a cup of water with two pain reliever pills she takes it than lies back. "We need to perform a rap kit is that something you can handle?" I ask "I just had a baby two weeks and one day ago. I had a C-section, My baby is from my rapist. Can we hold off on the exams please ? I'm exhausted" Reece yawns "I will go get you a warm blanket do you want or need anything else?" I smile "Can you stay with me please at least until one of my peoples get here" "Yes sure can! Be right back" I smile again and than walk out to get Reece a warm blanket.
