I have an important message after this chapter... so please read it!
Enjoy chapter 3!Kakashi's POV:
I jump through the trees, trying to get higher ground, hoping to be covered out of sight as well. A kunai whizzes through the air, I dodge it easily, not turning back to face my opponents... yet.
I swing up on a higher branch and begin to shoot my kunais at oncoming enemies, unsurprised that they are mainly rogue ninjas, ten at most. I waste no time, in shooting through the trees once more as they try in vain to surround me.
I hear the sharp sound of multiple sharp weapons being thrown at me. I curse under my breath, it's hard trying to dodge fast moving metal while running and jumping through trees. I feel my left leg grazed as I barely dodge another one of those flying weapons. Throwing my own, satisfied when I hear a groan and a faint thud as I move forward.
I can't use my Justus, I can't risk shooting blindly and wasting my energy. So, I can only play a game of hoping my kunais hit my opponents, hoping that it will slow them down enough for me to be back at the gates of Konoha.
I clench my teeth as I feel a sharp object lodge itself into my left leg, the burning sensation coursing throughout the whole leg. I turn around in time, blocking an attack, the black weapons against each other. How did I let this person come so close?
I keep blocking his many advances, I clench my teeth harder as another kunai lodges itself in my thigh, I hold back a groan of pain. Trying to focus on the enemy before me. He gets closer and closer, a malicious smirk on his face, I take out the kunai from my leg and as he's caught off guard I stab it deep into his chest. He tries to clumsily stab me with his weapon, I easily grab his wrist, taking the object to be my own, kicking him off the tree.
I finally see the gates, the gleaming metal gates towering high, thankful to see my comrades watching over in towers. Then I feel it, I feel a burning sensation erupt in the back of my chest. I have to go on. I'm so close.
I jump down from the trees, stumbling, knowing that the ninjas already see me. "Rogue ninjas behind me, maybe two or three." I yell, a few ninjas jump down from the tower. I can tell they are eager to have some fun after being cooped up in the towers.
"You couldn't take them on yourself?" My friend, Genma says. I snort, gesturing towards the kunai in my back.
"Hey, this mission was supposed to take three days, I did it in two." I reply, shrugging.
"We got this, go get those wounds checked out, you are bleeding a lot." he points out with a grimace on his face. I look down, my pants are matted with blood. I nod my head, saying a code to identify myself, then the gates open letting me in just in time as the ninjas following me appear.
"You shouldn't have come here." I hear Genma yell, he begins to chuckle. I shake my head, feeling a sliver of pity for the rogue ninjas. Villagers stare at me, some gaping and gasping as I pass through the streets. I take to the roofs trying not to grab anymore attention.
I finally get to the hospital, greeted with nurses stopping in their tracks, taking one look at me and suddenly yelling orders.

"You really did come back in two days." Ino says, softly, a smile spreading on her face. Carefully wiping away the bleeding scratch on my temple.
"I said I would." I say, grabbing her wrist. She looks at me, a bit startled. We have a moment as we just stare at each other, a glowing smile on her face. I brush back the loose strands of her bangs behind her ear, her mouth open slightly.
