"Babe are you okay" Jake says
I shake my head
"May I ask why"
"He was my ex" I answered
"Oh" thats all Jake said
We stand there in the rain for a few minutes of silence
"Come on babe lets go before you catch a cold" Jake says, wrapping his arm around me
We scurry into his car
The whole way back was silence
It felt awkward
It didnt make sense, he was my freaking boyfriend and I felt awkward.
I just felt alone, even though we were sitting right next to next other and he had his hand over mine.
I felt cold.
It wad weird to say the least.

Once he drop me off at my parents house because he doesnt know about the gang house my mom wanted him to stay the night.
"Sweetie you and my daughter are dating of course you can stay over" she kept saying
"No thank you, I only live 15 minutes away" Jake replied
"Nonsense, we have a guest room, just let me get it ready for you"
"No no its fine I dont want to bother you" he said
"You can always just share a bed with melody" My mom smiles then smirks at me
MOM ARE YOU CRAZY!!
"No need really"
"Are you sure" my mom asks
He nods
I open the door and wait for him to leave
"Good night babe, love you" he says kissing my nose
"Bye, love you" I said looking down at my shoes.
I felt bad.

After showering and brushing my teeth, my mom comes in my room.
"Dont you want dinner honey" She asks
"No thank you mom, I ate earlier" I answered
She nods and walks out
I plug in my phone to charge and realize I got a text
