90 - Real life

Sweetpea's P.O.V:

It had been days since I'd last seen Freddie. She hadn't been coming to school. I was finally ready with my plan to win her back. I had set up little notes with clues in special locations. I would be waiting at the final one, ready to get my girl back.

I had kevin get Freddie to go to pops with him. That would be the first place on my scavengerhunt.

Freddie's P.O.V:

"Kev I love pops just as much as the next person but why are you so insistent on me coming here".
"Uhhh no reason" he chuckled.

When we finally arrived Kevin took me to a booth in the far left corner of pops, we ordered our food from pop and Kevin asked for "the special" whatever that meant. This was really starting to confuse me. When our food arrived I noticed there was a little note on my plate that said my name.
"Okay Kevin, this is really starting to freak me out, what's up?" I said pointing at the note.
He playfully rolled his eyes "just read it".

I carefully opened the note and it says:
This was where it all began, the day you would deliver my food. now to continue on with my plan. Head to sweet water river.

I looked up at Kevin with a confused face. "What's this?".
"God you really are dumb sometimes, it's from Sweetpea!"
Sweetpea? Why is he doing this?
"Now go! Go find your man!"
I chuckle then get up
"Wish me luck"
And with that I'm gone. Driving to sweet water river to find Sweetpea.

Once I finally arrived at sweet water river I was confused. How was I supposed to find another note? This place was huge. I thought about the times me and Sweetpea spent here, messing around in the river, having picnic's, just looking at the moon and just talking. Or that time when I taught him how to climb a tree. Wait could that be it? The tree? I ran to look for the tree we carved out names in and there it was. The next note. Smiling I grabbed the note and begun to read it:

Look at you! You smart girl. I knew you could do it! Only a few steps left. To find the next clue you need to find the serpent crown.

The serpents crown?

The serpent kings throne! Of course!

After I found the clue on the serpent throne I read the next note:
Are you ready for your final clue? I always knew you could do it! To find me you must head underground.

Dilton's bunker!

I drove to the bunker as fast as I can and quickly climbed down the stairs. When I reached the bottom I saw candles and roses set up and finally there he was, Sweetpea. I smiled at him.
"Looks like I've found you"
"Indeed" he said smirking at me.
"How long exactly did it take you to make that scavenger hunt?"
"Long enough" he chuckles scratching the back of his head.
"D did you like it?"
"I like the surprise at the end" I say walking closer to him. He just cheekily smiles at me.
"Look Freddie, I wanted to say I'm sorry. The second I said I liked Josie I knew it was a lie. I regretted it. The only person I like is you, Freddie I I love you. More than I've ever loved anyone else in my life before. You bring out the best in me. Please forgive me".
I look him in the eye and begin to walk closer.
"Sweets, I love you too. And don't worry I forgive you, I mean how can I not your adorable. Your the best thing that's ever happened to me as well."
I grab his face and begin leaning in, then he does the same and before I know it we are kissing. Not a rough kiss, but a passionate kiss filled with love.
