Chapter Seven

Jungkook was just about to go out with his friends when he spotted Ji Eun going out too he called out for her name

She was wearing a simple dress while she just let her long and straight hair fall down on her back

"Hello" she respond as she walked up to him smiling brightly

She was so excited and nervous because today she will go to the University and will see about her score for the scholarship test

"Where are you going with that bright smile?" Jungkook asked whilst raising his left eyebrow

"I am going to Seoul University and will check the result for my test" she said and pout "Ohhh how I wish I passed" she said raising both of her hands while wiggling it which cause Jungkook to laugh at her cuteness

"Why are you so cute?" He asked pinching her cheeks

"It is really your habit! Pinching my cheeks!" She said and 'hmp'

"Should I come with you?" He asked and decided to cancel his meet up with his friends

Ji Eun's eyes suddenly brightens "You will?"

Jungkook cupped both of her cheeks squishing eat "Yes, I will you aegi" (baby)

"I am not a baby!" She said and crossed her arms which is so cute for the eyes of Jungkook

"Should we go now?" He asked

"Let's go!"

The ride on the bus was spent talking and teasing each other as they reach the University Jungkook was not surprised anymore that it has another new building inside again that anyone from the outside can see

Of course this is his father's school, this is their own school so he knows

He used to attend business meetings with his father voluntarily so that when the time will come when where he is now going to be the CEO of their company and of course be the owner of Seoul University he won't be so surprise about on how it works but when he met Ji Eun he now chose to stay at home and literally watch Ji Eun from his window, yes he is so whipped

But he do know that this is not healthy for his future

"This school is so big and looks expensive" Ji Eun said while pouting sadly while looking at her surroundings "If I did pass the test I think I would be the happiest, because to be able to study in this school is such a privilege" she added and gave herself a reassuring smile and turn her gaze to Jungkook

"You will pass, trust me" he said as he pat Ji Eun's head "You were brave enough to take the test even though you know yourself that you cannot afford this school but you still did, so I have the feeling the you will nailed it"

Ji Eun nod as a response "Thank you"

"It was said that we can see the result on the bulletin board"

"The bulletin board is on the second floor"

They came to the second floor and was surprised to see the amount of people in front of the bulletin board

They walked up to them and Jungkook had placed his hand on Ji Eun's shoulder to make sure that no one would hit on her

He cannot deny the fact that Ji Eun is not just a Busan girl who lack in beauty, she is indeed beautiful and kind and no one would deny it if they would know Ji Eun, I bet people would not even think that she is from busan because of her beauty

They tiptoed as they cannot see the result since people are blocking it

"Who is that Lee Ji Eun?"

"What the heck she totally beat Namjoon for 5 points"

"I bet she is a cheater"

"Omg. A perfect score indeed"

They both turn their heads to those three girls who were backstabbing her and suddenly she can feel Jungkook squeezing her shoulder telling her do-not-mind-them look as she nodded

Jungkook knew that his Namjoon hyung will also take the exam but he didn't expect that Ji Eun will actually beat Namjoon

Namjoon has never lose to anyone when it comes to academics and this is for the first time in the history of Seoul University

Ji Eun saw the result and was happy about it, she was used getting number 1 rank in busan so she doesn't mind that much but little did she know someone was asking himself why did he lose in just a transferee student

Ji Eun was a top student in busan and no one had ever beat her

Jungkook was trying to look for Namjoon but he cannot see him in there "Jungkook lets go?" He heard Ji Eun asked and he nodded as they walked out of the school not minding those people backstabbing Ji Eun

They decided to eat in a restaurant and Ji Eun repeatedly decline but Jungkook is so persistent that he wanted to take Ji Eun in a restaurant and let her eat all she want

"Are you okay?" Jungkook asked looking at Ji Eun who is now looking at the people beside them

"I am not" She muttered honestly "I do not deserve to eat here, look at them they look so pretty and amazing and look at me I look so plain and stupid"

Jungkook got hurt by that, he never knew that Ji Eun has insecurities about herself "No do not say that, you are very beautiful" he said and gave her a reassuring smile

"Can you trust me Ji Eun-ah? If I said you are beautiful then it's true, look you are perfect, you are kind, amazing, and beautiful. You are so special to me, and seeing you like this having insecurities hurts me, you know if only I can I would tell you everyday that you're very beautiful and perfect" He smiled sweetly to her and Ji Eun cannot help but to smile back

"I am so proud of you, you passed the exam and actually nailed it"
