Chapter Seventeen

Even though Ji Eun doesn't want to hear more from it but there's still part of her who wanted to know the whole story, it's that kind of pain that she wanted to take.

Sure- she is glad to know that his Grandfather fought for her and wanted to have his full control over Ji Eun but she have no idea who this old man is.

Her father had never been serious about working and is living for gambling? she couldn't even see a bad side of her father before because he never actually got mad over Ji Eun or even tell her the things she shouldn't do or what since he's always in seoul working-- but he was there somewhat being her father nevertheless she really loves him

"Ji Eun-ssi" Taehyung's father who had been silent talked "Your father and I is a good friend we were there for each other since we were like.... child" he added smiling gently to me which made me at ease a bit as I turn my gaze to Taehyung looking at me softly

"He asked me for help-- he happened to have chose the wrong opponent in gambling and that person actually made his life terrible and he wanted So Geun to give back all of his money but since he have used it for useless things, I guess, he have no money in him anymore and your grandfather  have disowned him so he have no one else to run- so he came up to me" He looked at nowhere avoiding Ji Eun's gaze

"We made a deal-- he offered it to me" he looked down regret visible on his eyes "He knows my company needs to become more big and he told me about you and when you turn 18 your grandfather will have your full custody-- the company of your grandfather is so big and successful-- it'll definitely help me, our family" he paused for a moment as Ji Eun took a deep breath "He told me that we should let our children get married for our family to be as one as well as the company"

gazing at Taehyung she felt shock and she don't know what to react even Taehyung himself looks so dumbfounded "Appa what are you saying?" he asked letting go of Ji Eun's shoulder

"I'm sorry Ji Eun-ssi, but I have help your family so that person would stop bothering you... but little did I know he have another person wanting to kill him I really thought he have stopped gambling after that incident but-- I don't know... and the person who killed your parents is still unknown" Taejoon muttered "it wasn't an accident- they were killed"

and that made Ji Eun burst more into tears as Taehyung brought her into his arms.

Sure he is happy since Ji Eun is his Fiancé but a big part of him is sad since he couldn't even do something to ease her pain and felt a small anger towards his father as he actually made some stupid deal just for the sake of company-- aren't they already doing good now? they can even buy what they want

Jungkook averted his gaze from Taehyung and Ji Eun, how he wish he was the person beside her who can comfort her in times like this but sadly he wasn't. He knew about it, Ji Eun's family matter he knew about it and he couldn't even do something about it and now seeing her cry in the arms of his bestfriend is making it worse.

"Who is my Grandfather?" Ji Eun softly muttered letting go of Taehyung as she wiped her tears

"Your grandfather is Lee Kun-Hi and I'm pretty sure you've heard about him since he is the number one billionaire here in korea" Taekwang arrogantly replied as Jungkook's father smirked

Ji Eun heard about that old man called Lee Kun-Hi since he was pretty famous for being a billionaire who literally can buy anything. Cleaning herself combing her hair through her fingers while checking if she still has some taint of tears as she took a deep breath "Can I meet him?" she asked determined to meet her Grandfather who have adored her from afar

"Very well then I will let you know if when" Jungkook's father replied as he laugh satisfyingly

Standing in front of Ji Eun's house Taehyung still doesn't want to let go of her "Will you be okay?" he asked looking softly at her

sighing "I'm going to be okay" she replied as she smiled "You're not even smiling for real" taehyung replied pouting

"I will be okay, I have to be okay since I still have people beside me who wants me to be okay" she giggled as she holds Taehyung's hand squeezing it

"Okay go in now and rest don't stress yourself too much Jieunnie" Taehyung muttered as he pushed Ji Eun inside her house and bid her goodbye

After seeing her entering the house-- he turn around only to see Jungkook outside their gate.

walking lazily to him "Jungkook"

"Hyung how was she?" Jungkook asked looking all worried

"Why would you ask that if you can't even speak earlier infront of our parents?" Taehyung replied rolling his eyes

"Hyung you know my father" he replied sternly "Please hyung I can't be with her at this times- take care of her"

"You don't have to tell me that, she's my fiancé so that's my job" Jungkook was dumbfounded hearing that as he have nothing else to say-- bowing slightly avoiding Taehyung's gaze as he entered their house without saying anything

Scratching his head Taehyung walked up to his car and left the neighborhood.
