Chapter Ten

"Jungkook" She called up to him when he was about to leave the room holding his wrist and pulled him outside, the students looking at them because of Ji Eun literally pulling Jungkook

Her first day was totally ruin because of Jungkook, after causing that scene he did not even bother to talk to her during their classes and break but thankfully Taehyung was there to accompany her and she was so thankful to him

He pulled Jungkook out of the school and had stopped in front of a big tree and everyone from the school is totally looking at them because of Ji Eun's furious look

"What happened to you? Why are you being like this?" She asked trying to lower her voice since the people who is walking by are looking at them and it was shameful it is like a boyfriend and girlfriend quarrel

"What do you mean?" Jungkook asked trying to sound like uninterested when in fact he really wanna apologize to Ji Eun but he just can't since he need to stay away from her for her own good but he just had to pull Ji Eun to take a seat beside her earlier because he do not want other boys hitting on her

"What do I mean? Are you really serious?" She said trying to be calm "You are not like this Jungkook so why are you doing this? Why are you being so disrespectful? And lastly why are you ignoring me?" A tears was starting to form on Ji Eun's eyes

She cannot believe that Jungkook is ignoring her and he is so special to her so it hurts her if he is going to continue to act like this

"Sorry" She was slightly shock by his response that apologize came out as a whisper but was good for her to hear it clearly "Someday you will understand why am I being like this" he added and bowed to Ji Eun before leaving her dumbfounded

The tears had fall from her eyes as he looked at him walking away from her, she couldn't help but to cry "What's his reason then?" She said through sobbed and rolled her eyes as she wiped her tears "I won't cry again—"

"Yes you shouldn't, do not cry because of him"

She turn her gaze to that voice only to see Taehyung giving her a reassuring smile
He walked up to her and pat her head "Uljima Jieunnie" (Don't cry Jieunnie)

Ji Eun tried to gave Taehyung her best smile "Okay, I won't" she said and sigh "ever" and that made Taehyung smile

"Should I treat you?" Taehyung asked "to lighten up your mood kaja" (let's go) he added and pulled Ji Eun

"Hey Kim Taehyung you do not know me I eat a lot, I am thin but I have a very big stomach!" She said nudging Taehyung while they're on their way to the restaurant

"I eat a lot too, should we bet and the one who eats a lot would be the one to get the food for free and the other one will pay, how about that?" Taehyung asked raising an eyebrow to Ji Eun but she smack him on the back of his head

"I don't want to, what if you won and I do not have money to pay for the foods plus you are a boy so I am sure you eat a lot more than me!" Ji Eun said rolling her eyes and pouting

"Wow you do not have money? Are you kidding me? You actually looked like an only daughter of a big company like SM, JYP, and YG!" He said stopping on his track and tried to headlock Ji Eun but he was caught by Ji Eun first and turn his arm on his back "ouch ouch it hurts Jieunnie" Taehyung whined as she removed her grip on him

"I am actually a scholar, 100% so I do not need to pay anything except for our projects! I am not rich like you guys" she said smiling to Taehyung who is massaging his arm

"I really thought you are rich, look at you! Jieunnie really looks amazing but simple" Ji Eun laughed at his weirdness and slap his arm and started running

"Hey wait for me!"

"Oh isn't that your friend? Kim Taehyung right? The son of Kim Taejoon" Jungkook's father asked while pointing at the two people on the street

Jungkook turn to look as he saw Taehyung trying to headlock Ji Eun but failed "how can they become so close that fast?" He muttered to himself a jealousy is getting in to him

"Did you say something?" His father asked

"Yes that is taehyung" he replied as she saw Ji Eun ran followed by Taehyung

He sighed "See that girl, that is why I told you to stay away from her because she is a gold digger look at her now trying to seduce the son of taejoon" his father commented and 'tsk'

His father has been monitoring him now, not even letting him go out with his hyungs and prohibited him from seeing Ji Eun, his father had actually hired a person to watch out for him and actually saw that he was being so close to Ji Eun when in fact his actually arranged in a marriage and his father did a research on Ji Eun and found out that she was poor and not like them

Jungkook tried to defend Ji Eun and tried not to listen to his father but his father threatened that he will do something bad to Ji Eun and he could not believe that his father are like that and he is sure that he is a man of his words and will surely hurt Ji Eun if he didn't obey him.

There's also something that he found out about Ji Eun's family and had told Jungkook about it, and Jungkook is sure that it will cause pain to Ji Eun if she will know about that.
