Strange things happen when you are special. Part of me knew that the second I figured out about my gifts.
The first sign always comes from the people you love the most. My parents used to look at me funny. They started to treat me differently, like I was some kind of monster. After, it was the people asking about me.
Then came the vans and the uniformed guards. Even the president. They took me from my home, if I could call that home.
Now, it's the strange movement in the white corridors. I can hear people walking, voices mumbling quickly. A hush that only takes place when strange things are about to happen.
I am special. I control fire, maybe I'm a monster after all.
My name is Olivia Grace. I am 19 years old. I am being tested at a government facility for gifted people. I am a prisoner.
The sound of unlocking doors was surprising, yet familiar.
"Miss Grace, you have a visitor."
I looked at the female doctor who was accompanied by a few guards.
"You must have made a mistake. I don't have visitors" I said turning to the only window in the white room.
"I am not mistaken, Olivia." Said a man. I turned to look at him. Black outfit; eye patch. "My name is Nick Fury. I am here to take you home."

I am afraid, now that I can clearly see the outside, I am changed. I am a force of nature. I am unlimited.
