shino smiled, "as long as he didn't do anything then i'm okay with it. let's just study alright? go ahead and sit in the living room."

shino never smiled. even when he got his first girlfriend in seventh grade. he never once smiled or showed any affection. that confused me.

once hyuga left, shino turned to look at me. he slid his glasses down exposing his grey eyes. he looked at me seriously, "sasuke. i know you don't respect women. but respect hinata. she's important to me, so at least be accepting." he finished.

i sighed, "whatever." i walked out the room and walked to the kitchen. he followed after me.

i sat on the chair and i heard the door finally open. i heard footsteps coming out of shino's room and into the kitchen.

when i turned around, i saw sasuke getting something from the kitchen along with shino.

is it- is it because of me??

have i made things... awkward...?

i bit the inside of my lip and knitted my brows. i walked slowly into the kitchen... they were talking and when i came in, they stopped what they were doing and looked at me.

i smiled,

... nervously...

"w-w-would you um..." i stuttered, why now out of all times...?? i sighed and i became frustrated, nothing coming out of my mouth.

"i'm- im sorry!!" i yelled bowing as i stayed in my bowing position.

it seemed like a really long time until shino held me by the shoulder and lifted me up. "there's no need to apologize. it was an accident after all, i'll help you with your study guide, i'll just get snacks for us." he said with a reassuring smile.

i smiled back. okay...

i walked back into the living room and continued on working on my things.

sasuke sat across from hinata with a scowl on his face. he stared at her and hinata shrunk under his gaze. she didn't want to endure anymore and sat up hastily.

"what's wrong?" shino asked, looking back up at her.

"i- um- i-i need to use the restroom..." she told him. she walked off into the restroom in shino's room and closed the door behind her. she sat on the closed toilet seat and gave a big sigh,

back at the living room, shino solves some problems himself, "do you need help too?" he asked sasuke

sasuke shrugged, "yo, do you still have my things in your room?"

"yeah, why?" shino replied. sasuke smirked,

"nothing. i'm gonna go and grab something real quick. can you go get something from the store real quick?" shino gave him a look,

what?

"what do you need?" shino knew something was up, but he couldn't get a grasp of what sasuke was trying to aim for.

"go get me some condoms."

"what?! why? stay here and you're not going anywhere near hinata." shino's expression shifted from his emotionless ones to an angry one.

never did he laugh.

nor smile.

nor... show any emotion at all.

hinata was family, a sister, someone he loves dearly along with kiba. there was no way he would let her get bullied again.

"why're you getting so angry? i'm horny is all. and i ran out when i used it on that other chick from lunch." sasuke said with a smug look on his face.

shino glared, "what do you plan on doing with them?"

shino's phone rang. "hello?" he answered, "oh, yeah. okay. i have friends over- who? hinata and sasuke. okay. okay." shino responded,

his parents called. they were at the airport and they were about to drive home. "go to the store and buy some things for me please sweetie." his mother said,

tsk.

"who was that?" sasuke smirked. shino flipped him off,

"fuck off loser. mom and dad are about to come back. they need some things from the store."

shino walked over to his room and opened the door. hinata lying down on his bed while on her phone. from shock, she jumped, "o-oh, sorry. i was about to come ba-"

"do you wanna come to the store with me? or- do you need anything?" shino's eyes showed desperation, but hinata didn't get the hint.

'so-so sasuke will be coming with him? a-and i'll finally be alone?' she thought.

but she thought wrong.

"u-um... the regular! and some green tea please." she said to shino, shino walked over to her and patted her head.

"alright, stay in the room okay, be careful and i'll be back in like, twenty minutes." he said closing the door behind him.

he walked outside and sasuke smirked like the devil. "stay put in the living room." shino ordered, pointing to the couch.

as shino left sasuke stood up. "he never showed so many damn emotions in one day. all because of that hyuga?" he grew amused.

even when they did something outrageous or something stupidly dumb, shino never showed enough emotion for someone to give judgment upon him. he always wore his dark shades and a hoodie because he didn't like bright things.

what made the hyuga so special? a sister? that was new. he never once talked about a girl before... or did he? fuck. this is... amusing.

sasuke walked into the kitchen to get a water bottle from the fridge. twisted the bottle cap and opened it, he drank some.

hinata walked out of the room and walked into the kitchen, not noticing sasuke as the kitchen lights were off as well as the hallway lights. she had thought that she was alone and had taken off the basketball shorts she was given. she wore an oversized t shirt that went down to her knees and underwear.

she searched through the fridge for some yogurt. she smiled and laughed a little. she still knew his house like the back of her hands. she grabbed a spoon and opened the lid, placing the wrapper in the trash.

once she was finished, she walked back into shino's room and closed the door. "i wonder how kiba's doing..." she said with a sigh. the three were always inseparable.

then sasuke came into the room. he walked in, foot first and he smirked when he saw hinata's reaction.

she shrieked, dropped her yogurt and kneeled down to cover herself. "i-i... i -i thought you were with shino..." she yelled, eyes closed, she didn't want to be alone.

not with this person.
