Chapter Fifteen

" Goodness gracious dear, were you here all night? "

My shoulder was being shaken to waken my slumber, my eyes slowly opened to see an elderly women looking over me from my sleeping position. My head seemed to come back to reality as I remembered everything from yesterday, the lock-in, the man, when I fell asleep...

" Uh, yes mam. I got locked in yesterday night... I couldn't call anyone yesterday "

" You better head to the nurses office, you probably still feel tired from sleeping on the uncomfortable floor, and seem to be getting a temperate " Her cool hand rested on my forehead. I couldn't deny that I felt sleepy, also I felt pretty down.

I stood up slowly holding onto a nearby shelf for support, I walked out the library, my bad lazily on my shoulder. I felt heavy throughout my phone body, my eyes droopy. I started to get dizzy from all the walking and feeling exhausted, I leaned into the wall and held my head. I slid down the wall so I met with the floor, I felt myself getting more and more sick.

" Oh my Irene! Y/N, hey, are you alright, where were you last night?! You didn't answer my calls, my Irene, you're burning, what did you do last night? " A familiar voice rung through my ears, but I didn't have much strength to answer to the persons questions.

" No matter, we have to get you home, Gene, Sasha, go on without me I'm skipping school today... Irene Y/N you had me worried sick! "

I felt arms go under my knees and around my shoulders and lifted me up, the world around me sounded like a blur, I could only feel his heartbeat close to my ears the only response I gave was a whimper. As we entered the house it was full of barking and shuffles on the floor, I felt myself being set down on the couch and Cutie jumped on top and curled on my chest.

" No Cutie, off! Bad puppy! " But Cutie didn't listen to Zenix, in fact she stayed put and whimpered onto me, she could sense my sickness while I stroked her, Zenix huffed and went somewhere. Cutie hopped off the couch as Zenix set a blanket on top of me, he felt my forehead and pulled his hand away like it burnt his hand on a hot pot. 

" You are really sick Y/N, that's fine... Me and you are going to have a fun couch day "

" Uh, don't you need to go to school? Wouldn't your mum worry that you skipped? "

" Hey, it's fine. If it's about you then mum will surely understand that it's utterly important "

" But you'll get sick too, you should leave me be and go to school "

Zenix gave me a look, I laughed in response, Cutie then again hopper on the couch to lay on a free spot that I didn't cover on the couch, I scratched her behind the ears and started coughing.

" Yeah Y/N totally, like I want to go to school and enjoy all the learning and the information and school food and gatherings and having to get homeowner at the end of the day... Yeah no, you are really mistaken, you know me... I'm not the goody two shoes I'm the badboy remember? I break the school rules, I vandalise, I wreak and having a bad reputation with the other students " He took a spot on the floor and rested his back against the couch.

" Oh right, I actually forgot how you really are at school, you don't really seem like it now around me, it's like you're different around me " He couldn't help but laugh nervously and rub the back of his neck. 

Cutie stood up and patted roughly on Zenix's head and earn groans of pain from me leaving Cutie satisfied, he turned his hips to face is leaving his legs still crossed and playfully pushed Cutie face planted on the couch.

" So you want to watch a movie or something? I could probably search up like a comedy movie? "

" That would be nice of you Zenix... I am a bit hungry too, I missed dinner "

" Say no more, say no more I'll make like noodles for you, how does that sound? " I snuggled more into the blankets for warmth while I started coughing. I nodded and he stood up and walked to the kitchen.

I suddenly had an urge to change into fluffy pyjamas, I sat up and walked to the bathroom with Cutie trailing behind me. I washed my face with warm water and changed, and walked back with Zenix holding a bowl and steam coming out of it.

" Excuse me what are you doing young lady? Why did you leave the couch, next time you do that I'll have to keep you under my watch, what happens if you fainted in the middle of the floor without me knowing? You had me very worried "

" Zenix, you worry to much, calm down I had Cutie with me I'm sure I was in safe paws... Paws "

" Haha, very funny, now sit back down in the couch while I set up the movie " I playfully punched him on the shoulder and sat back down on the couch and patted a spot next to me, Zenix thought it was for him so he walked to sit next to me to be taken over by the puppy.

" Damn it Cutie you literally have taken everything now " Cutie barked at him in response. I grabbed the bowl from him and started eating, while he growled and sat on the floor he started the movie.

It was starting to get dark and Y/N was sound asleep on the couch and Cutie off the couch and slept upon her dog bed and Zenix cleaning up the room, he stretched out his arms and back and sat on the floor next to Y/N's face and cupped your cheek.
