Chapter 18 : Unexpected

A week already passed since the incident with Doyeon. I still couldn't get in touch with her. She's avoided me everywhere I went and didn't accept my calls or even reply to my messages. Even though we're in the same class, she wouldn't even look at me. I sighed.

Jimin poked my shoulder. I turned my head to look at him. We accidentally make eye contact. His beautiful eyes looked at me deeply. It's like a message full of something that I can't understand. It's complicated. We both stare at each other for a few minutes taking this time to admire us.

Beep beep ~~

We broke our eye contact startled at the notification received. "Ahem...y..yeah. Ac..actually..I..I'm..." Jimin stuttered. His face turns red all of sudden.

"I...I'M GOING TO THE TOILET." I said and run away before he sees my tomato face. Why do you have to raise your voices? You fool. I'm more than embarrassed! I could kill myself! Shit! Shit! I cursed myself.

I went to the toilet. I looked at myself. My face looked red like a tomato. Oh my! If Jimin sees this, I'm gonna cry in embarrassment. I washed my face many times and looked at the mirror to see if the red is gone. Then, I went outside to search for Jimin.

Jimin's POV

I sighed. My cheeks felt hot. Why she's so beautiful. I looked into her eyes. There's a feeling between us that I couldn't figure it out like she's been hiding from me. I know I'm true with my own feelings but did she? I love her and I will always feel the same. I stared at my phone. I got messages from dad. He wants me to go home. I looked around and founded Y/N walked towards me.

"I'm sorry. Why did you call me before?" She said.

"Em..nothing. I just want to make sure you alright." I said.

"I'm okay. Why?" She asked me weirdly.

"I just feel like you're not but if you said that you're fine. Then, that's okay." I smiled.

"Really I'm okay. Don't worry." She replied to the smile.

"If you say so. Hey, em..actually I should go back home. My dad asked me to come home earlier. So, I have to go now." I said. Actually, I didn't want to be apart from her but my dad said that it's kinda urgent and important things so I should head back faster.

"Yeah. You should go. Bye." She waved me goodbye and I did too and just like that. We both parted.

I walked to my home. As soon as I reached, I searched for my dad in the living room. "Dad?"

"Jimin. I need you to hear this. It's important." My dad said with a serious tone. My heart was racing, I was nervous like there's something might be happened and I think I'm not gonna like what will I hear from my dad.

"The Lee's clan had killed one of our member's clan. He just starts a war between us." My dad said.

Words can't describe how mad I am hearing that. It's too much to handle. I know they're targeting the Park's assets and businesses. The Lee's and Park's clan are rivals for a long time. My dad and Lee's leader, Lee Seo used to be friends. They're like brothers but when my dad married my mom. Everything turn upside down. Lee Seo also falls in love with the same woman as my dad but my mom loved my dad and they got married. So, Lee Seo takes a foolish move by killing my mom. At that time, I was five and I know nothing.

I cried at that time, really hard because my mom wasn't with me. I don't know where's she'd gone. I need my mom. I felt like my worlds are upside down. I couldn't accept the fact that my mom got killed by the man who loves her and now Lee Seo also targetting to kill me. So, my dad makes a move and gathered up his man, make a new clan. We moved from Gwangju to Busan and started our business there. We strengthen our clan and be the strongest mafia clan. That's how Hobi hyung and I were parted. I couldn't contact him. I just prayed that one day we meet again and we did.

Lee's Clan used to be the strongest but their business was corrupted and their men were not trained well. They lack skills but they had a strong connection with the VVIPs. Lee Seo has been blinded by wealth and revenge. He seeks for his revenge till today and I'm not going to let anything happen to my own dad and our clan.
