Chapter 27 : Life must go on

A year later, Jungkook and Y/N were still together. The couple was really happy with their relationship. Y/N, Jungkook and Taehyung already graduated from University and already got a job at a different company. Jungkook and Taehyung work together at Jungkook's father's company while Y/N got an offer to a different company.

"I'm home." Y/N said while placing her car keys in the box.

"Hmm...did you eat dinner yet, pumpkin?" Yoongi asked from the living room. He was laying on the couch while reading a book that might be his student's homework. The way he looks, stressful day for him.

"Not yet. I spend my whole day in the lab today."

"Let's eat something. I'll order delivery for us." Yoongi said.

"Alright. I'm going to take a bath first." Yoongi nodded.

"How's work? Is it okay?" Yoongi asked his little sister while they both busy unpacking the food they'd ordered.

"Nothing much. It's fine." She smiled.

"I heard that Jungkook and Taehyung work together in JK's father's company."

"Yes. Tae and I got offered there but I don't think I can work if Jungkook there. He'll keep bothering me. So, I choose to work at another company."

Yoongi nodded. "Yeah, of course. He's the owner's son."

They both chuckled.

"Heyyo." Jungkook smiled. He was waiting for me in front of my office's building to pick me up after work. I walked to him as soon as I found him. All the female workers were eyeing on him. I glared at them.

I kissed his cheek. "I'm sorry to keep you waiting."

He looked at me and smirked. "It's okay. Let's go." He grabbed my hand and kissed the back of it. I glance at the workers and smirked to them as they looked so disappointed that the guy that they were eyeing already taken.

Jungkook opened the car's door for me.

"How was your day?" He started the conversation. Eyes kept on the road.

"Not bad. You?" I asked.

"Bad." He said.

"Why?"

"Because I miss you." He takes a glance at me to see my reactions. I blushed a bit.

"Hey, you okay?" He asked.

I nodded. My mind lately were keep thinking about Jimin. I don't know why and how. Thoughts of him suddenly came.

"I'm okay...I just thought of something."

"Tell me, why?"

I smiled. "I'm fine."

"Is it because of Jimin hyung?" He looked at me nervously.

I nodded silently but I know he noticed it. His face turned into a serious mode and it makes me feel guilty like crazy!

"Jungkook-ah..." I said slowly.

He stopped the car at the sideroad. He faced me.

"You still love him?" He asked.

"No! It wasn't like that." I said. I face him, look into his eyes. All I see, he's hurt. I placed my hands on his cheek.

"Then, why you still thinking about him while you already have me." He said.

"I didn't. It just appears in my mind. It didn't mean anything. Trust me."

"I-I'm just scared. The thoughts of losing you, I don't want it to happen." He looked at me.

"I love you." I said and it makes him smile.

We kissed and that's how we make up.

Life must go on, right? I can't waste my time to think of someone who just considers me as his little sister. I already had Jungkook and I think he's the one. We'll be happy together.
