dear soulmate,

i'm not really sure how to start this letter if i'm honest. i have so much i want to tell you but at the same time, i don't. we are strangers, after all.

Today marked my twentieth birthday. why it took me so long to write to you is beyond me. all my friends started writing to their soulmates in highschool, if not before. i guess i owe you an apology, i never did get back to you on that penguin drawing you sent me when we were kids. Although if it means anything, it's still framed and kept safely in my bedside draw.

i remember drawing a tiger in first grade to send back to you, but it never even got to the post office before my brother spilt his juice all over it. i tried to redraw it but i jsut remember getting upset it didn't look the same haha.

anyway, enough about me. how about you? are you in univeristy too? my friend just pulled up to take celebrate my birthday at some new club, so i have to go. but please, take care of yourself.
