"So all this time you knew about Jihoon's true condition?" Seokmin asked the performance team leader. They just got home from the hospital and they haven't even reached their shared bedroom when Seokmin asked this question.

"Yea, I was the first to know. Seungkwan and Hansol found out later too," Soonyoung answered nonchalantly.

"And you decided to hide it from all of us?" Seokmin asked, his tone raising by a level.

Soonyoung turned to look at Seokmin with his eyebrows furrowed. "Jihoon forbid me to tell anyone. It's not like I could go around and tell everyone about his secret!"

"This secret is not something to be kept hyung! If we knew earlier then none of this would have happened!" Seokmin answered back. Soonyoung swore he had never seen Seokmin this infuriated before. His eyebrows are furrowed. His eyes that used to shine so bright are now looking angrily at him.

"I KNOW IT'S MY FAULT OKAY?! THERE'S NO NEED TO POINT THAT OUT. I'M COMPLETELY AWARE THAT IT'S MY FAULT!" Soonyoung shouted as he flopped down on his bed. Since that awful morning, Soonyoung's thoughts have been bugging him all the time. What if he just told Jihoon's parents or the manager the moment he knew about the younger's disease? What if he didn't give in to Jihoon's request of keeping all of this a secret? Will Jihoon still be laying in that hospital bed under a coma? Of course not. This would not have happened if he had just convinced Jihoon more. "Because of me... B-Because of my stupidity Jihoon almost died. It's all my fault," Soonyoung said in between sobs. He had let all his emotions take over him after a long day of keeping them all to himself.

Seokmin was suddenly by Soonyoung's side and hugging him tightly. "Soon hyung, please don't cry, please. You know I didn't mean what I said, it's all the stress from the situation talking. It's not your fault Soon hyung," Seokmin said while gently caressing his back. He did not want to shout at Soonyoung, he just let his frustrations take over him, controlling his mind. "I'm sure Jihoon hyung has his reasons why he wanted to keep this a secret and you were left with no choice but to respect his decision. I'm so sorry hyung. Please don't cry. It's not your fault. It never was."

Soonyoung believed in everything Seokmin said. Seokmin had that effect on him, on everyone actually. He's not sure if it's because of his choice of words, his tone or just because he's Seokmin, the man who can brighten up even the darkest days if you'll just let him.

"I'm so sorry for keeping a secret like this from all of you," Soonyoung said, still choking on his sobs. He finally calmed down after taking him almost two hours to do so. If not for Seokmin comforting him it would probably take a longer time to calm down.

"I understand. Just don't keep anything from me the next time okay? I'm your best friend too you know?" Seokmin said with his signature eye-smile while patting Soonyoung's shoulder.

"Of course I know. Jihoon is like my brother-bestfriend and you're my bestfriend-bestfriend. You two are my bestfriends. " Soonyoung said. Being with 12 other boys for years and living with them in the same house, it would be normal for everyone to be friends and it is completely inevitable to have more than one best friend.

"It hurts my pride as your best friend you know? You kept a secret from me, it breaks my poor heart hyung," Seokmin said with the best acting skills that he can muster. It's impossible for Soonyoung to not laugh at his best friend's silly antics. "But seriously Soon, if you have any secrets that you've been keeping from me, now is the best time to spill it," Seokmin said while being serious all of a sudden.

"I don't think you'll like it when you find out. Hell, I'm sure you'll get mad," Soonyoung said after a while of contemplating whether or not it is a good decision to tell him. But like what Seokmin said, it was probably the best time to inform him about it. No matter how much he tries to ignore this feeling, Soonyoung feels so bad for hiding something from Seokmin all these years.
