Unfamiliar familiarity

It's been a month since the day Jihoon was hospitalised and had been in a coma. The boys had taken it upon themselves to look after Jihoon especially when his parents are not around. They still needed to go back to Busan every now and then. Seokmin and Soonyoung just got home from the hospital since it was Seungcheol's turn to look after Jihoon. It had always been like that, Seungcheol will come in the morning and spend the day in the hospital, never leaving the hospital if possible but the members had successfully convinced (more like persuaded him really hard) that they will take turns to look after Jihoon during the nights. They can't just let their leader exhaust himself to death and besides, they all want to take care of Jihoon too.

After eating breakfast, the two then proceeded to their shared bedroom. Seokmin went straight to Soonyoung's bed. 

"Yah Seok, that's my bed," Soonyoung said, eyeing his best friend who's now making himself comfortable in HIS bed.

"I'm tired hyung. I don't wanna go up," Seokmin said -glancing to his bed which happens to be the upper bunk. "Besides, your bed is big enough to accommodate us two. Now come here, I know you're tired as well," he said as he moves further to the side to make room for his hyung.

"Since you're sleeping on my bed, you should do something for me," Soonyoung said he laid down, occupying the empty space beside Seokmin. "Sing," he continued as he rolled to his side, facing Seokmin.

"Hmmmmm," Seokmin answered with a hum, thinking of what to sing.

one love

He watched Soonyoung sleep as he continues singing. It had been really a habit of his (he refused to call it an obsession, no it's not. Not yet at least.) Since there are 13 of them in the dorm, they usually sleep together especially when they're all too tired to get on their own beds. Seokmin sleeps with Soonyoung most of the time. And he loves watching him sleep, it may sound weird for some but not for him. He loves staring at his hyung's sleeping face especially when there's a smile plastered on his face just like now. He looks so calm just like this, a sleeping Soonyoung looks so peaceful far from the Soonyoung who looks so tired these past few days.

Love is a beautiful one.

He closed his eyes as he sings the last line with a small smile of his own.

I don't think we can manage to get me sick too.

Seokmin woke up to the sound of a phone ringing just beside his ear. He picked up the device without even bothering to see who was calling.

"Hello?" 

"Soonyoung, I have good news!"

Seokmin removed the device from his ear and found out that it was not his phone but Soonyoung's.

"Cheol hyung, it's me Seokmin. Soonyoung hyung is asleep right now, wait a minute, I'll try to wake him up," Seokmin said to the leader who was on the other line.

"Yah hyung! You have a call! Wake up!" He shakes the other but he only got a groan as a response. He tried waking the other up but failed miserably.

"He won't get up hyung, what is it that you have to tell him? I'll tell him once he wakes up."

Once his phone conversation with Seungcheol was ended, Seokmin turned to Soonyoung and pushed him out of the bed. The older fall to the floor with a thud followed by a loud groan.

"YAH! WHY DID YOU PUSH ME!?" Soonyoung said while rubbing his arm.

"You should change your ringtone hyung. My sleep was ruined because I thought it was my phone that was ringing," Seokmin answered instead.

"Who called?" Soonyoung asked as he sits on the bed.

"It was Seungcheol hyung. Jihoon woke up 3 hours ago and fell back to sleep again after 10 minutes. The doctor said that he will wake up again anytime soon," Seokmin answered.

"REALLY?!" Soonyoung exclaimed a little too loud for Seokmin's liking. "Let's go then! I can't miss Jihoon waking up again!"

"Lower you voice hyung, I don't want my ear to undergo surgery again," Seokmin placed his hands to his ears to emphasise his point. Soonyoung smiled softly and did the v sign in return. "Might as well tell the others too, they wouldn't want to miss Jihoon waking up either. At least we can go all together," Seokmin said as he made his way to the living room where most of the members were lounging.

Once he announced the news to everybody, with Soonyoung cutting him off and telling it himself, everyone was literally running to prepare. It's not a surprise to everyone that Soonyoung was the first to finish getting ready. The performance team leader is now waiting at the door impatiently. 

"YAH! CAN'T YOU GUYS MOVE FASTER?!" Soonyoung asked impatiently.

"Soon-" Seokmin whined loudly pointing to his ears. Soonyoung just crossed his arms on his chest while pouting and did not dare shout again.

After a lot of nagging from Soonyoung, they all have successfully made it to the hospital. Only four people were allowed inside the room Jihoon had been staying for a while, only his parents, Seungcheol and Soonyoung were inside while the others are all outside watching him by the glass.

to be very honest.. i kinda gave up on the book and like writing in general. but i then realised how much all of you readers mean to me and how this writing thing has been therapeutic for me and my very unstable mental state so i kinda told myself to continue this book and end it once and for all because i owe it all to you guys who have been supporting me in this writers journey of mine. thats why i finally wrote this chapter and probably a few more chapters before i end this book.

please continue supporting me. i will do my best to make you guys happy and im sorry if i have failed in being that author you wanted me to be because i do not update my books regularly.
