♦︎ | LAY YOUR CARDS ON THE TABLE 2 - Each participant can only submit two books, and those books must be in different genres. We do not allow books that glorify or romanticize rape, murder, substance abuse, etc.
♣︎ | THE DECK IS SHUFFLED AND READY 3 - This awards contains four rounds. Therefore, your work must have at least ten published chapters-- which excludes forewords, introductions, and casts/playlists-- to be able to conduct a proper first round analysis. Prologues will be counted towards the ten.
♥︎ | NO CHEATING 4 - No bribing judges or hosts. We don't see faces or names, followers or votes. We see words typed on the page. Let your story speak for you.
♦︎ | BET IN TURN 5 - Entry fee must be paid for each showdown. Five votes and an insightful comment to your challenger. "Great story" is not sufficient. It should be insightful, respectful. Not lackluster. This includes subsequent rounds of advancement. It will also be checked to assure its been paid in full. Once out of the running, feel free to browse other stories, but you will still have to vote for the Grand Winner of your category. As we aren't members of the FBI, this is based on honor code.
♠︎ | DON'T BEND THE CARDS 6 - Disrespect or rudeness will not be tolerated. Neither will negativity. Competition is fun and exciting. Taking a risk is fun and exciting. Deviation from that will put you on the blacklist and eject you from further participation.
♣︎ | BET YOUR BOTTOM DOLLAR 7 - Every participant will be placed on a special Collections chapter after Grand Winners have been selected. This way, we know who has payed and who hasn't.
♥︎ | ON A ROLL 8 - Notify the hosts or this account if you've changed your username or the title of your work. The password is jackpot.
♦︎ | EACH GAME IS DEALER'S CHOICE 9 - All books are reviewed and scored by technical skills and content alone. This is a level playing field where statistics do not count. What you've crafted is our only interest, and frankly, a very valuable card in your deck.
