Is This Good News?

"Are happy about this?" Gabby asks.

"Of course! This is just so soon." I say feeling dizzy, confused and happy.

"So I can squeal?" Gabby asks lightly jumping up and down.

"Yes." I say starting to feel happy. Gabby sequels and pulls me into a hug. We start jumping up and down in the hug. Goldie and Gracie start to bark at the excitement.

"How are you going to tell him?" Gabby asks excited pulling away from the hug. My eyes go wide.

"Maybe we should go to a doctor to confirm this." I say.

"Of course." She says.

The following day we go in to the doctors office to get an ultra sound. I change into the gown and Gabby turns around.

"If it's a girl, maybe you should name it Rose. A boy, maybe...hmm...Jack!" She says.

"A flower and the name of your boyfriend." I say pulling the the cover up. "Can you help me tie this?" I ask turning around

"Of course." She says walking over to me and ties it. "I'm just saying, those are name options." She finishes tying it and I lay down on the table.

"Yeah and so is Billy-Joe and Susan." I say sarcastically.

The doctor walks in and we chat. We get ready for the ultra sound and Gabby takes my hand and squeezes it. The doctor turns the screen to us and she points out the area where the baby is. I squeeze Gabby's hand and look at her.

"Your having a baby!" She whispers happily. I wipe away a happy tear and look at the screen again.

We walk out of the doctors office with images from the ultra sound. We head to the mall to order some custom shirts. We walk into the store and order a custom shirts. 1 I'm going to be a father shirt, 1 best mom shirt, a bunch best uncle and aunt shirts, and some best grandma and grandpa shirts. Once the order is placed and we head back to my house. We are greeted by Goldie and Gracie jumping up and down excitedly. We head to the couch and sit down.

"Are you going to call Daniel?" Gabby asks me.

"I can't call him and tell him that. I need to tell him in person." I reply.

"Okay, I'll contact Jonah and tell him we want to surprise the boys." She tells me. She starts typing away and I put my head back on the couch.

*A week later*

Gabby, Lavender and I are seated on the plane about to take off. Lavender is fast asleep, Gabby is half asleep and I look out the window. The plane takes off from LA, going to Wisconsin. I had planned to stay there a week, Daniel and the boys were staying there for a few days and then I was going to visit some family. The following week I was flying down to Louisiana to spend time with my sister. I fall asleep to the sound of the flight attendants instructing us on what to do.

I wake up to find that we've landed and getting off the plane. I wake up Gabby and we quickly move. Gabby grabs Lavender and the dipper bag. I grab our carry on's and we hurry off plane. We get our suit cases and meet Jonah outside.

"Hello strangers!" He says to us as we approach him.

"Hello Jonah." I tell him trying to act normal. He gives me weird look but I smile at him.

"Thanks again for setting this up." Gabby says opening the car door and putting Lavenders car seat in the car. I hold Lavender and the bags. Jonah sees me loosing my balance, he quickly runs over and takes Lavender from me. My head meets the ground fast and I sit up quick.

"Poop! Are you okay?" Jonah asks me kneeling with Lavender. Gabby runs over concerned, I can tell she wants to tell Jonah. I give her the look of, no. She nods and I turn to Jonah.

"Yeah, I'm just really tired." I say, Jonah stands up and hands Lavender to Gabby. Gabby buckles Lavender in, while Jonah helps me up.

"Why don't you just go get in the car? I'll take care of the bags." He says. I nod and get in the car next to Lavender. A little bit later Gabby and Jonah get in the car. We start to the venue and Jonah makes some small conversation.

"It hasn't even been three months. What do we owe the pleasant surprise?" Jonah asks getting on the highway.

"Lavender is missing her daddy and I asked Alyssa if she wanted to come with us." Gabby says. Jonah looks between the two of us suspiciously.

"What have you guys been doing?" He asks looking back at me.

"Writing music. I had a nasty bug virus a couple weeks ago. I'm better now though." I say. He  looks at me like he doesn't believe me.

"Jack and Daniel have really missed you guys. They are gonna be really happy to see you guys." He says. We talk some more and arrive at the venue. I had told my cousin Grier I would be in town for the concert. We meet her at the back entrance.

"Allie!" She says running at me. Gabby goes to stop her but I shake my head. Grier knocks me over and we cry a bit.

"Hey Grier." I say hugging her back laughing.

"I missed you." She says.

"I missed you too, goofball." I whisper in her ear. We stand up and dry our tears and head back to see the boys.

"So, I've been thinking. Since I'm your cousin and your married to Daniel Seavey...What does that make him to me?" Grier whispers to me.

"He's your cousin, cousin-in-law technically, but still your cousin." I say. I can tell she is trying not to freak out. "Let it out." She squeals and I laugh.

"Wait here, let me figure out where they are." Jonah instructs us. We wait and Gabby lets Grier hold Lavender. I record it.

"This isn't real life." She says.

"That's what I said on my wedding day." I say. Grier plays with her for a bit until Jonah comes back. I stop recording and Grier hands Lavender back to Gabby. The boys are on stage for mic checks. I see Zach and Corbyn, who are obviously in on this, recording Daniel and Jack. Jonah walks in first and Gabby sneakily follows behind him. "I need to tell you something later." I whisper to Grier. She gives me a questioning look and I follow behind Gabby.

"Hey Daniel, Jack." Jonah gets their attention. They look over at him as me and Gabby pop out from behind him. "Surprise!"

"GABBY!" Jack yells and starts running. Daniel doesn't say anything he just starts running. I start running to him too. Our bodies hit each other as we hug.

"Hi." I whisper into his ear.

"What are you doing here?" He says shakily in my ear.

"I wanted to see you silly!" I tell him.

"I love you." He says burring his face into my neck.

"I love you too." I reply. After a long moment we pull away and share a long meaningful kiss.

I look over at Gabby and Jack who are playing with Lavender. The boys stop recording and my cousin comes up next to me.

"Hey Grier! Long time no see!" Daniel says.

"Hey Daniel!" Grier says. Daniel gives her a side hug and I can tell she's trying not to fan girl. I stifle a laugh.

"Boys! Head back stage, the doors open in five." We here a manager say. We all head to the dressing room and Grier goes to get in line.

"Daniel, I need to talk to you." I tell him in a low whisper as we walk in the door.

"Sure, what is it? We have an hour before the show." He says turning around to face me. I see Gabby, Jonah and Zach looking at us.

"In private." I say. Daniel looks where I'm looking then turns back to me.

"Oh, yeah." He says. He pulls me out of the room and takes me into another room. "So, what is it that you need to talk to me about?

"Your going to want to sit down."
