Today is Wednesday and it was only 7:02 in the afternoon. Miss Abby had sent me home for the day because I couldn't focus without Brady here. I mean he was there but I couldn't focus correctly without his words of wisdom, but I also didn't want to pry. And as Spiteful as she is, she also said for Brady and I to go on a date or a get together so we could get to know each other better, but something came up and Brady had to run some errands. I was missing him like crazy. Any who...
My mom was okay with the idea but as soon as my dad found out he was livid. He was going on and on about how I'm to young for boys, too old for toys and of course uncle Norman and Uncle Andy agreed with him. Like dudes, I'm 13 years of age. I'm pretty sure we could go on a date and be alone but not really, because we'd be out in a public area. And it was fine until they found out I wanted to go out with a boy and since i had the day off I had the time to. Oh but that didn't matter to my dad or my uncles AT ALL! It absolutely sucks because if it were Auggie going out he'd be free but me and George wouldn't or couldn't even think about dating.
Oh I can't wait 'til she's 16 or until starts her rebellion as soon as she gets to her preteen years. I can't wait to laugh when she does get a boyfriend. Dad's going to be so mad.
Anyway I was broken from my train of thought when mom came into my room. "Hey bug. What's going, what are you up to?" She said and I rolled my eyes with a laugh. "Planning to take over the world." I said sarcastically. She out her hands up. "I mean..." Mom trailed off and I scoffed and threw a pillow at her. "Mom!" I said and she threw it back before sitting down on my bed. "Seriously you okay?" She asked and I nodded. "Yes mom I'm good, I promise. Just super bored and wondering if I could possibly go on a date with Brady? Just this once?" I asked her giving her my best puppy dog eyes and pouty lips. She sighed and kissed my head. "I'll text your dad and see. And if he can't he can come over. Your dad won't mind that." Mom reasoned and I nodded and she tucked some hair behind my ear. "Stop growing. Do you hear me?" She said to me playfully before walking out. Huh, parents. They stress me out sometimes.
After sitting there for a few, Brady and I had been texting. He asked me to go on a date earlier and I told him to I'd have to sneak out because dads on a rampage. (get it ;))
A little while later mom came in and told me that her and dad said he could come over here and that dad was being more than serious when he said he didn't want me going on a date without him near and he wants to meet Brady first. He's way too over protective, sometim... Nope scratch that, All the time. Here I am telling Brady I want to sneak out and he says he doesn't want to get on my dads bad side and so we just decided on a sleepover. Jeffrey's. Am I right?
He's so complicated. Boys are so complicated. I really like Brady but I don't know if the feelings are reciprocated. Oh please send a sign. Or a boy. Preferably both and have it be Mr. Brady Farrar! This is giving me anxiety!
After a roll of my eyes and a huff I stood from my bed and left my bedroom walking past my mom who was on her way to the kitchen. "Where you going?" She asked and I pointed to the door. "Brady sent something." I said with a sigh. As soon as I opened the door my hand flew over my mouth and I jumped into the arms of Brady. "Brades!" I squealed and me and him hugged.
"Hey. I'm here. He said as he held me in his arms. He swayed side to side as I held onto his neck not eanting this moment to end. "Oh my god what are you doing here?" I asked realeading the hug. Its been a couple hours and I mean I kind of like, love him? Do I? Ugh! Stop judging because you know you do to."Uh for the sleepover, duh." He said outting me down and replied in a playful, 'duh' tone. "Come in." I said and moved a side.
"Mom, Brady's here!" I yelled to my mom and got an "Ok!"from the kitchen in return. Me and Brady went to my room and you know Netflix is a must.
This is so much better than the flowers, which may I feel the need to say almost killed me as I am highly allergic to. But that's Brady for ya.
