The bus came to a stop when they arrived at the competition. Henry was still sleeping but Brady was slowly waking up.
Brady P.O.V
The bus had stopped indicating that we had arrived. I tried shaking Henry awake but it was to no avail. I just lifted her up and carried her off the bus. "Aww!" The fans, the moms and the girls all said. I rolled my eyes playfully and kept going.
We all walked to our dressing room where Henry got down and smirked at me. "Thanks for the lift, babe." Henry said and went to go set up our makeup stations which were right next to each other.
"So... Is Brenry a go?" Pressley asked and since it was only us girls we answered. "It sure is." Me and Henry said together and the girls all squealed. "Finally. We thought we were gonna have to set too guys up." Hannah said and we all laugh. "Don't let it get in the way of your dancing and performing." Miss Abby said. We nodded and shared a look. "My soloist are up first. Hannah, GiaNina and then the lovely Miss Henry. I want straight legs and beautiful pointed feet and attitude and emotion. Or you could kiss getting another solo goodbye." Miss Abby said and we nodded.
I was getting ready for my routine as mom pulled my hair into a low ponytail. "So how do you feel about your solos guys?" Joanne asks. "I feel as if my solo is good enough to win but I don't wanna jinx anything." GiaNina said and Hannah spoke next. "I feel the same but I know we'll all do well and I am excited for the performances." Hannah said and I nodded. "We're all gonna kill it." In honor of me and Hannah we all got Unicorn headbands for Hannah and then mom had made some yellow ribbons that represent many things but for today it was for hope and forgiveness.
Then after a while of getting ready a lot of drama happened and so basically to spare you all the details, Gianina said something about Abby's opinion not mattering and Miss Abby said she didn't raise brats and somehow I got roped into their feud full argument.
"Well maybe if your kid danced as well as Henry, she wouldn't have to feel that way. Henry is an amazing dancer and hasn't lost in her entire career. She has one second place trophy since she's been dancing for me and it was only because she was given 30 minutes to rehearse a dance. She has never not placed and won so Joanne don't you dare go trying to compare the two. Okay she was on Broadway, whoopdie-do. She was On The Walking Dead, Supernatural and she was in many more things. She sits on a way higher pedestal." And then it was silent. Abby and Gia left and the moms wished all the soloists good luck before giving us pep talks and going to the stage.
First up was Hannah and when I say she brought it. She was amazing.
And then GiaNina went and it wasn't too bad but....
It was now my turn... "Please welcome solo number 76, Forgiveness!"
