"So, what happened?" Cam asked Eric, pulling the shorter of the two to the side so the conversation wasn't overheard.
Eric knew there was no sense in lying, Cam being able to see through his facade. He sighed, running a hand through his hair.
"We got back, she invited me in and then she brought out some joints and edibles from a few nights ago. So we smoked them, talked, flirted a bit. She was blazed, I wasn't even half as high as her. I knew I had to drive home so I had made sure I would have been good. When she heard that I had to leave, she asked me to stay," Eric shrugged.
"So I agreed, and I asked her if the guest room was able to be used yet. The last time I was there I had seen boxes and extra stuff. She didn't like that, and wanted me to cuddle instead-"
"Wait," Cam interrupted, "She wanted to cuddle with you. She asked you that?"
Eric nodded, "And when I said no, and that it'd be weird-"
"Wait you said no?"
"Can you stop interrupting me?" Eric snapped, "Yes, I said no. I didn't want things to be weird again. But she wouldn't take no for an answer. She got in my lap and asked if it was weird that she was sitting there. I can't even remember how it happened but she started like kissing my neck and then we started making out. She tried to uh.. Grab me... there," Eric paused, a light blush dusting his cheeks at the memory, "But I stopped her. She didn't know what she was doing, she was so high. She started apologizing and that's when she told me that she actually likes me? I dunno man. So after that we just went to her room and watched tv until we fell asleep."
Cam was silent for a second, thinking of what to say. "So... she was about to give you a handy, maybe even a blowjob, and you just said... no? That's not the Eric I know," Cam teased.
"I don't want to be that Eric anymore," Eric shrugged, "I want to be someone that she's proud of."
"Shit," Cam muttered "You're in deep."
Eric nodded, sighing. "I know, man. I don't even understand it. She's just amazing. In every way possible. I just... I don't know how to ask her to be mine. Or if she even wants that right now, I dunno."
"Well, you'll have to gauge her actions when she's with you. You can't just always assume the worst, or the best. Just see how she acts when she's around you, and then go from there," Cam sighed, not knowing any other advice to give Eric. Cam was never good with relationships. He patted Eric on the back in the kind of 'bro' way that guys do, before they parted ways and went to go record the Podcast.
Eric made sure Cam wouldn't say anything to the others. He didn't want it getting out yet, and he didn't want Sarah to get cold feet and realize that this wasn't for her.
Cam started off the Podcast, and had the guys do their usual intros. They all decided to start making videos of every episode of the Podcast from now on, and when setting up the office they made sure there weren't any mirrors or reflective surfaces that stans could look for Eric's face on.
The recording session went as normal, Mason acting like a fucking idiot and Matt making jokes that 99% of people wouldn't laugh at. Eric kept quieter than normal, thoughts swirling around his mind about Sarah.
He didn't even realize when Cam said the outro, his brain automatically saying "Bye" to the listeners with the rest of the guys. Jay had made a joke during the Podcast about how "Swagger is always high during recordings", to which the guys laughed at. Eric and Cam shared a knowing look, though.
"Did you listen to any of that, or were you out of it the whole time?" Toby asked, laughing.
"I was pretty out of it. Just not my day I guess," Eric fake laughs with Toby.
