Chapter 1. New life, new team, new me

Jaiden's POV (this would be the POV for most of the fanfic. I want to stick to one person only)

After all the problems i got into, my mom decided to look for a community for me to join in. One day, my friend, James from the Odd1sout, invited me, Tim, Rebecca, Den, and Adam, to start a group known as "The Animation Squad". My mom agreed right away, even though that meant i had to move away to Los Angeles to the Animation House. So, i packed my suitcases and Ari's cage. I cant forget little old Ari.

Jaiden's mom (mom): Jaiden, are you ready?
Me: yeah. I'm ready
Mom: good. Because James is waiting.
Me: comin' mom!!!

I hurried downstairs with two suitcases. My mom already put Ari's cage in James' car. I gave my parents one last hug and left.

James: hey Jaiden, are you ready?
Jaiden: sure. Wait, where is Adam?
James: oh, we are going to pick him up right now. He wanted a little more time in The OVEN.

We left my neighborhood. The exact place where i spent 21 years of my life in. I have good memories and bad memories in this little cozy area. But, it's time to move on. Do other things. Spend time with my friends,

Jaiden: ... and my crush.
James: Jaiden, are you ok? What are you talking about?
Jaiden: oh, oh... no. I'm not. Just drive.
James: surely, dork
Jaiden: James!

*time skip cuz first chapter is going to be too long to be in details*

We arrived at Adam's house. He was standing outside with a backpack and a suitcase. He waved at us as James pulled the car over. Adam went to the driver's seat.

Adam: ok James. I'm driving to LA.
James: what no. This is my car. I'm driving.
Adam: stop. No need to impress anyone here Jameson. You looked like you barely sleep last night.

That was when i realized: he did look like he didnt sleep last night. James tiredly got out of the car and headed to the passenger's seat before seeing Adam's giant backpack on it. So, he went to the back door and sit with me.

Adam: WE ARE GOING TO LA!!!
James and Jaiden: yay (tiredly)

I slept only 4 hours last night, so I was not really in mood for celebrating or anything. So, i just closed my eyes and tried to sleep. I laid my head on the car window, which was both too hard and too hot. So, i turned my head to the right and found a really comfortable "pillow", which made me instantly fell asleep.

*James' POV*
JAIDEN IS RESTING HER HEAD ON MY SHOULDER. It feels really comfortable and warm, to the point I drift asleep too.

When i wake up, i see we are in the middle of nowhere. I look up and see Adam driving.

James: hey Adam, where are we now?
Adam: oh, you lovebird has woken up. We are pretty close to LA now (i honestly suck at Geography so sorry if i describe the highway differently)
James: ADAM!!!

I yell before covering my mouth with my right hand. I almost wake Jaiden up. I look down and realize that she is wrapping her hand around my waist. I can barely move. So, i just carefully pull out my phone and play Tetris (uncomfortably)

*Jaiden's POV*

I yawn as i open my eyes. Adam is driving, and James is on his phone doing something. I sit up, only to realize that my hands are wrapped around James. I immediately pull away, making James notice

James: oh, hey Jaiden, you're up. We are pretty close to LA now.
Jaiden: oh hey. Adam, can we play some music please? I don't wanna fall asleep again.
Adam: as long as it isn't a cheesy romantic song for you lovebirds.
James and Jaiden: ADAM!!!!!!!

I pull out my phone and scroll through a list of songs. Then, i turn the Bluetooth up to connect to the car's speaker system and play Senorita (it is popular at the time). Immediately, the boys start to whisper sing the song. At the chorus, they are singing it loudly.

*time skip cuz im out of ideas*

Jaiden: we are in LA!!!
James: Yay
Adam: let's go get something to eat. I'm starving
(Author note: i don't know if you can drive from Arizona to LA in around 5 hours or smth. I dont live in America)
James: lets find a SOUUBWAY then!!!
Adam: uh, FINE

We pull over and order some sandwiches before going to the House.

*arrive at the Animation House*

Adam: James, is this the House?
James: yeah. Here it is.

I look around and see Rebecca and Tim going out of a cab. We wave at them and pull over to the parking lot and walk out.

Rebecca and Tim: HEY guys, ... and girls
James, Jaiden, Adam: Hey, how's the ride?
Rebecca: tiring. Can we just go inside now? I need a proper sleep.
Jaiden: me too.
James: here are the keys. Each person has one (*handing out the keys*). Let's go inside now, shall we?

We walk in and go to our respective room. I set up Ari's cage and put him inside. Then, i unpack the necessities and flop onto the purple bed. James do know my favorite color.

*Time skip*

Den shows up at the door with Maaz and Emily few hours later. We all got together to have dinner in a nearby restaurant, talking about life and animations. Then, we get back to the House and get to bed. None of us have energy left to do anything else.

This is gonna change my life forever.
