Chapter 11. More than friends.

So, i have no clue how to make this relationship works. So,... don't get your hopes up for a really good love story. You have probably see from my last 10 chapters that my romantic stories are huge memes.

*Jaiden's POV*

Today, we are welcoming a new member!!! Gingerpale, and Shgurr.

Jaiden: Devon!!! Welcome to the Animation Squad!!!
Devon: hehe! Thanks guys! I love being here with people like me!!!
Rebecca: um, so, feel free to throw your stuffs into your room and rest. It is the second room on the right from the stairs (i'm making that up! It's not important for the story, maybe)
Devon: yeah, i will throw my stuffs there and come down here! *casually walk towards the stairs*

*ding dong*
Jaiden: oh, Shgurr is here!
James: you know her name is Shannon right?
Jaiden: nope, this is the Animation Squad, the ODD1SOUT.
James: haha Jaiden Animations. *open the door*
Shannon: hi guys!
Jaiden and James: hey, come on in! Make yourself comfortable *look at each other and blush*
Shannon: gosh that is soo cute!!!

*3 weeks later*

Adam: GAMING NIGHT!!!
Others: WAIT ADAM!!!

So, it's gaming night. We are playing Monopoly, chess, and Killer Queen Arcade (honestly i haven't played that game before but i google "10 players game" and it shows up!)
*everyone gets ready*
James: Welcome back everybody! WE ARE HERE WITH JAIDEN ANIMATIONS,...
Jaiden: hi!
James: SOMETHINGELSEYT...
Adam: *reverse peace hand*
James: LETMEEXPLAINSTUDIO,...
Rebecca: *wave*
James: THEAMAAZING... EMIRICHU...
Maaz and Emily: *chatting in the background*
James: GINGERPALE AND SHGURR!!! Omg i need to catch my breath a bit. Huh. WELCOME TO A NEW SERIES CALLED "ON THE COUCH" ANIMATION SQUAD VERSION!!! Today, we are playing: "Truth Or Dare".
Adam: so, the normal "on the couch" is usually for playing games together on one screen, but this is the full Squad episode, so, we're playing something else!
Jaiden: *whisper to James so that the camera couldn't hear* James is this part of your plan?
James: *silently nodds* *whisper to Jaiden* that's only one part.

*time skip*

Shannon: James your turn. Truth or Dare?
James: truth.
Shannon: Are you a furry?
Jaiden: i actually want to know this.
Rebecca: Jaiden, how can you not know?
Jaiden: he never actually answers.
James: i, ... am? Maybe?
Jaiden: you see what i mean now?
Rebecca: *silently nodd in agreement*

James: Jaiden, truth or dare?
Jaiden: i'm pumping this up. Dare!
James: can you get me an apple, honey?
Jaiden: no honey today sweetie! *stands up and walk to the kitchen*
Literally everyone else: AWWWWW!!!!! Aren't they the most adorable!!!!
James: *blush*
Jaiden: *shout from the kitchen* heads up!!!!
*throws an apple at James*
James: AH!!!! *successfully catches the apple* a ha!
Jaiden: Emily, truth or Dare?
Emily: truth
Jaiden: what pain do you "enjoy" the most?
Adam: *laughs like a maniac with James*
Emily: haha!... virginity
Others except Maaz: OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Den: *hold Tim's arm* aren't they soo cute!! And romantic!!!

Welp, i notice that. I notice Den holding Tim's arm and Tim blushing lightly. Hm,... i need to discuss this with James.

*after the "party"*
Jaiden: Sweetie?
James: yes?
Jaiden: did you notice Den and Tim getting pretty "close" together?
James: they were? Omg!
Jaiden: it's our wedding next week. I wanna use that time to "get them together". But, we need to confirm that. Can you ask Tim tomorrow?
James: sure DORK!!!
Jaiden: even when i started calling you with romantic couple names, you still have to use Dork.
James: that's my dork! *cuddle up with Jaiden to sleep*
(I'm no psychopath, but seeing James and Jaiden cuddling up at night will easily put me to sleep every night till the rest of my life)

*time skip*

Jaiden: you do?!!!
Den: yeah... please help!!! I wanna confess but i don't have the courage to pull him aside normally. I... i don't want to confess normally.

You know, writing fanfic was soo easy before. Now, i literally have to back track few times to cleverly pay off what i have set up in the few previous chapters. Every. Little. Action. Matters!!!

I mean, there is one tiny (not tiny) detail that i have foreshadowed. So, if you still remember that, congrats for actually do. I almost forgot about it. I mean, if i spill the tea now, it's gonna ruin the timeline, the plot, and the settings, all at once!!! I wish i could pull that back. But, i just, can't.

That's what i'm going to have to live with.
