Chapter 5: AdaBecca (pt. 2)

Under The Mistletoe

*Jaiden's POV*

Finally, the area feels cool again. Winter is knocking on the door. Halloween was fun. We all sat inside and binge watch Halloween movies. Now i know that James could easily get jumpscared and Tim liked clowns. Weird.
But, this isn't the holiday i'm waiting. It is Christmas. It's the best holiday for shippers. Now, i have googled a few "traditions" before. And, i noticed that there is a pretty special tradition.

The mistletoe. The symbol of Peace and Love. And the strongest weapon of shippers. James got one and gave it to me. I will hang this on the doorway and decorate the whole living room for the festivity spirits. But, this little object is what's important.
But, to get what i want, i need to set a bait.

James: JAIDEN!!!! We are playing a round of Truth or Dare. Wanna come?
Jaiden: sure. Comin'

Perfect!!!

*few turns later*

James: Dare.
Adam: i dare you to walk to the sink with both your legs and your arms, and grab a bucket back here.
James: FINE *gets down on the ground and walk like a dog*

James looks so cute when he is acting like a dog. After getting the bucket, he brings it back to Adam on all four legs/hands and gets a "good boy" from Adam.

James: Jaiden, your turn
Rebecca: Truth or Dare?
Jaiden: Truth
Rebecca: are you in love?

(A/N: When James was doing his dare, Jaiden looked at him and blushed, noticed by Rebecca)

Jaiden: um, yes. That's pretty easy one.
Jaiden: ok, Rebecca, truth or dare...

*the game goes on normally*

*time skip to Christmas party*

I get to my closet and pulls out a purple dress. I love it. So, i get dressed and walk downstairs to the living room. Everyone is dressing up a little more formal today.

*after dinner*

Jaiden: hey, who's in for a round of Truth or Dare?
Others: ME!!!
Jaiden: ok then. Since i started the game, i go first. Truth.
James: what do you think of yourself?
Jaiden: um, i'm feeling cute, ... and horny (A/N: I JUST READ A FANFIC USING THE WORD "HORNY" AND I LEGIT LAUGH FOR TWO DAYS. ALSO, DON'T JUDGE ME. I AM A TOTALLY NORMAL WRITER WHO IS NOT INTENDING TO PUT TOO MANY 18+ PART IN)
Maaz: LOL WHY???
Jaiden: don't know. I'm just feeling it. Ok, Adam, Truth or Dare?
Adam: *still laughing* dare
Jaiden: i dare you to go through the kitchen door at the same time as Rebecca. (The kitchen door is pretty big)
Adam: uh ok. Becca?
Rebecca: fine.

I look at the two walking towards the door and get to the other side. They start to walk through the door at the same time.

Jaiden: WAIT, ADAM, BECCA. STOP!!!
Adam and Rebecca: WHAT?
Jaiden: look up

I point at the mistletoe hanging right above them as i grinned. Rebecca's face gets paled.

Adam: Why?
Jaiden: it's the tradition that if a boy and a girl walk under the mistletoe, that boy MUST kiss the girl.
Rebecca: it's the tradition. *leans in*

Adam leans in and kiss Rebecca before getting pulled into an even deeper kiss. The whole Squad is fangirling like crazy. After 2 minutes, they break free, panting like breathless dogs (haha very funny Halfad)

Adam: Rebecca, I love yo...
Rebecca: no. Let me say it before you. I love you Adam.
Emily: Aw, aren't they SOO CUTE!!!
James: Adam, Rebecca, let's continue the game.

Adam walks back with Rebecca hand in hand. We know that we have succeeded.

*after the party*

I was talking to James about how i miss Arizona when i got pulled by Emily

Emily: Jaiden
Jaiden: Emily
Emily: i have considered what you said at Starbucks. I'm asking Pantless Pyjamas to do it for me. Do you think it will work?
Jaiden: i don't think so. I know it will works. Trust me. His reaction is golden. Also, it confirms if he is interested in you or not. So, just wait. Ok?
Emily: ok. Thanks Jaid.
Jaiden: you are welcome my child.

A few things to say here:
1. I notice that as I'm writing Jaiden as a character, she seems like a caring mother of sorts. That is why i often refer to Jaiden as Momma.
2. AdaBecca is the little trigger that triggers other ships that i will keep secret for now (i know i have named them all before)
3. I am pretty hyped and high at the same time so my writing can be VEY CRINGY.

Ok that's it. I need to rest. I have been writing for too long now.
