Chapter 2: Meeting Toothless

Normal POV

Hiccup walked still by your side, trying to find out what you meant with the last you said. With that, he had the time to look at you closely. You wore a (f/c) pullover, a (f/c) skirt, black tights and (f/c) boots. It was your (e/c) eyes and your beautiful (h/l), (h/c) hair, swiftly moving along with your moves, that made him get lost in thoughts. ‘Hiccup? Hellooo? Anybody in there???’, you said as you waved in front of his face and he snapped out of his thoughts. ‘Oh! Ah... sorry, (y/n)... I, uh.. got a little lost in thought there...’ he said, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly, avoiding eye contact with you. ‘It's okay, Hiccup. This happens to me a lot.’ you replied, giving him a reassuring smile. When he looked at you and returned your smile, you felt your cheeks heating up. Oh hell no, (y/n), really?! Great... you thought to yourself. Then Hiccup broke the silence. ‘Hey, uh, since you don't seem to know Berk, do you want me to show you around?’ he asked, looking into the forest. ‘Sure, I would love to know more about the island, if you don't mind.’ you said and he turned around to face the way to town again. He whistled and all of a sudden a big, black dragon flew towards you and Hiccup, it stopped right in front of him, greeting him with a happy groan and after greeting Hiccup, it looked straight at you and slowly walked towards you. You backed away until you bumped into a rock. The dragon walked over to you until he was only a few inches away from your face. It had beautiful, pale green eyes and its scales were slightly shining in the sunlight. Your heart was racing when you stretched out your arm to touch the dragon's face and it closed the gap between its face and your hand. ‘Oh my god...’  you whispered in amazement. You have never seen a dragon this close and you've never touched one before.

Hiccup's POV

It was so beautiful to watch (y/n) meeting Toothless. I could see the amazement and excitement in her eyes. Toothless seemed to like her, he acted different than he normally does when meeting a new person. It was a beautiful scene and I felt really bad to break it, but I wanted to show (y/n) Berk and I knew she would love to see it from, let's say, another perspective. ‘So (y/n), this is Toothless. Toothless, this is (y/n)’ I said after a while. ‘Nice to meet you, Toothless.’ (y/n) said, patting his head smiling. Toothless responded in a happy growl and enjoyed the patting. ‘Are you two ready to go?’ I spoke up again, getting on Toothless and offering (y/n) my hand. She smiled, took my hand and climbed onto my Night Fury. ‘Let's go.’ (y/n) said, holding onto me and I felt a blush growing on my face. When I gave Toothless the right sign, we flew off into the sky.
