"thats three green!" the man working the booth told Alexei, "and here's dart number four!"

Alexei aimed the dart, and threw it, hitting the green balloon. he grinned at the kids who had gathered around us gave him high-fives.

"Miss!" the little boy next to me said. "your boyfriend is really good at this!"

i blushed, "he's not my boyfriend."

the little boy gave me a look and then brought his attention back to Alexei.

"One more for the big prize!"

"you can do it mister!" the same little boy told him.

Alexei aimed, and threw the dart, and it popped the green balloon. Alexei jumped up in excitement, and gave the children high fives, and then he turned to me with a grin, and i smiled, and gave him a kiss on his cheek.

the man asked Alexei which prize he wanted, and not to my surprize, he chose the Woody Woodpecker. i grabbed his hand and we began looking for Murray.

Alexei suddenly shouted, "Murray! смотреть! это не сфальсифицировано!"

Murray noticed us and imitated Woody Woodpecker's laugh.

then i noticed a tall man waking towards us, and i got a really bad feeling. i gripped Alexei's hand tighter, and stopped walking. and then i noticed that he had a gun.

"почему вы остановились? что случилось?"

i saw the man raise the gun and point it at Alexei, and i jumped in front of him.

pain surged from my hip, as i yelled out, before falling to the ground.

"Maria!" Alexei shouted as he dropped Woody and knelt at my side, picking me up, and walking towards Murray.

"holy shit! Maria, can you hear me?" his voice was fading out.

"it hurts..." i said weakly.

"i know, i know, just-" he took his shirt off, and pressed it to my hip. "Alexei, держать давление на это. я собираюсь позвонить 911."

Alexei nodded, laying me with my back against the building. "с тобой все будет хорошо, я обещаю." he said, and i nodded weakly.

then i started seeing stars and i groaned, i heard Alexei say something. he sounded panicked, but i couldnt understand him. everything sounded blurry. and then, everything went black.

Alexei, держать давление на это. я собираюсь позвонить 911- Alexei, keep pressure on it. im going to call 911.

с тобой все будет хорошо, я обещаю.- you're going to be okay, i promise.
