Delta: Fourth letter of the Greek alphabet. Anything triangular. A nearly flat alluvial deposit.

Day 4: April 6

Sabrina's POV

I was back in hell.

School.

Whoever thought it was a good idea was an idiot.

Once again I went through 5 classes that will never help me in life. Well, except for Gym and Art. Those are the only classes that I can stand. I run track and play soccer, so an A+ in Gym is almost guaranteed. Art is my other talent. Not many people know about it; only my friends, my dad and Maya. I loved drawing since I was a little girl. I pictured myself in another universe and drew little, quirky, childish things from my thoughts. When I started getting older I changed my style a bit to more important stuff, like the places where I spent my time or important people.

Like my friends or Maya... whom I used to draw every week.

And it's not like I asked her for permission. Which is honestly kinda creepy. When she came over at my house I'd take a mental picture of her and draw her afterwards, doing whatever it is that we were doing that day.

Not that I do that anymore, of course.

Anyway, I was now in Art class, with Mr. Donnie Marcus, our teacher, asking us to draw an important piece for the end of the year.

"My dear students, for this year's final project you will draw whatever it is that you'd like to draw about. You may use whatever method you'd like and even take inspiration from famous pieces. The only catch is that it must be about something important in your life, whether it be a person, a place or even an event. But it must represent something that makes you feel like nothing else in this world does. You'll have the rest of the year to finish it. Now, get to work!"

I always loved the inspirational and emotional way Mr. Donnie spoke. More of a reason to love this class.

My god, why the hell am I sounding so lovingly and cheerful lately like Maya freaking Clarke? When did her fantastic energy rub off on me?

But the real question is what am I going to draw or paint?

I could draw my house, my dad or my friends. They are, after all, important things in my mind. But Mr. Donnie also mentioned important events...

Perhaps I have an idea.

A very adventurous idea. We'll see how it turns out.

Maya's POV

After a long session of Calculus I sat down at my table for lunch, sighing as I took a bite of my homemade caprese panini. A few minutes later Mads and Carson sat in front of me, complaining about how the Biology teacher was the most useless person in the world.

I didn't pay them any attention whatsoever. I was lost in my own daydream world.

What did the Greek letters in the map mean? How could they help us solve the case? And most importantly, what importance did they have to the killer?

I sense that the next letter, Delta, has a very specific meaning like Alpha did, which might help us tie everything to the identity of the killer.

But many people live in this goddamn town. Who could have the guts to kill a teenage boy?

It's all questions and no answers until now. I hate to let someone else die, but the only way to get more clues is if we have another murder to investigate.

The familiar voice of a very familiar blonde woke me up from my daydream.

"'Sup, losers. So, um, we wanted to ask you if you wanted to come to the soccer game tonight with us. Thomas and I'll play. I mean you don't have to come, but It'd be nice for a change," Sabrina explained.
