Elowyn's eyes opened, her pupils dilating. She sat up quickly and screamed. It's like she woke up from a nightmare. She found herself back in the med bay at the cabin. A nurse looked at her, surprised that she's awake.
"You're awake!" The nurse reached for her, but she swatted her hand away.
"Where's Nolan?" The nurse ignored her and tried again, but she grabbed her wrist. Her eyebrows furrowed. "Where is he?" The nurse looked frightened, Elowyn did t know until she snapped out of it. She let go and noticed how tight her grip was.
"He--He's not here." She slowly backed out.
"I'm sorry, Angela. I just- I just need answers..."
Angela nodded and disappeared around the corner. Elowyn laid her head back and sighed. Maybe she overreacted. She laid there for a few minutes before she heard approaching footsteps. Her head popped up and saw Nazir.
"You must be questioning a lot." She saw his arm was in a sling. Theodora appeared in the doorway. Nazir excused Angela, then it was just them.
"What happened? Where's Nolan?" Elowyn looked darted between the witch and her alpha. Both had solemn looks.
"Gone..." Nazir let a silence follow, before continuing. "When you fell unconscious, Ms. Redferne tried keeping you safe. I failed to see to protect the others."
"It's not your fault, you did everything in your power to protect us."
Elowyn laid her head back into the hospital pillow, their voice fading away. Nicolai and Nolan were taken away by the witch and that... that thing. She couldn't help but think of what they could be doing to them. Nolan was her best friend, and she didn't want to think about losing him.
"I have to go back out there." She said, speaking right in the middle of her alpha's conversation.
"We can't? Don't you see how hurt you got? You need to rest." Theodora touched her arm. Though she knew the witch for very little, she heard stories of her kindness. She understood she was trying to protect her, but she wanted to do everything to get them back.
"I appreciate the concern, but this is something I'm willing to fight. Weak or strong, there's no way I'm letting Nolanand Nicolai be in the arms of those monsters for long." Elowyn's passion changed the environment. She could see Theodora's eyes glimmering with hope and new ideas. "Please, Alpha Nazir."
"I never objected. I was already on board." He smiled. For all her life, she's never seen her alpha smile at her. "I would say you should rest, as well and I'd bring some Warriors and Hunters with me, but it seems clear that you won't back down."
Elowyn grinned big. She had a positive mindset for their next expedition with people who are just as determined as her.
Later that day, Nazir called a meeting with Lead Warrior Brina and Lead Hunter Gennady. They agreed to bring along two warriors and two hunters. The meeting was held in secret, just like it always has been with the beast and witch. The plan was to leave tonight to find their camp through Theodora, and attack at night when they were asleep.

Elowyn sat in the empty, square room. Light shined right through a single window nearly the size of a wall. Theodora stood in the middle with Nazir stand in a corner, observing. Theodora was to find Xania and the beast.
"Are ready? I'll be here if anything happens." Nazir asked, making sure she wasn't scared.
"I'm ready." She nodded and began. She recited a spell with her hands out and her body straight. Her eyes closed as she focused. Elowyn noticed whisps of her hair started to float. Soon it was all of her hair, and then her! Elowyn never saw anything like it before. Theodora opened her eyes, they were glowing white. "I see them."
"Good, good. Look at your surroundings , do you see our members?" Nazir instructed, following her through the procedure.
"The beast is carry them. Now he's knocking on a tree? Oh wait, it opened!" As she floated, she walked in place. "They're going inside... I'm follo-- What the..."
"What do you see? Speak to us." He said, pacing around the room.
"There's so many... Werewolf hunters." She gasped at her vision. "The beast handed them to a hunter and now he's bringing them to a tent."
"Come on, Theodora. Follow him." Nazir encouraged.
Suddenly, she shrieked. She started to fall! Nazir was on the other side, Elowyn had to step in. Luckily, she did and caught her. "What happened?"
"Xania almost saw me. Almost." She smiled, knowing she got away with it.
The three felt hopeful. But, what Theodora described back there was going to be a challenge. Soon, they would have their members.
