Chapter Four: When Roses Bloom, Love Blooms

As they left the town, Kay Lee, Kora, Dakota and Tank ate some sandwiches and drank some water. After they ate they kept walking, Kay Lee and Dakota holding hands. They walked for miles and miles until they reached another town, which looked abandoned. "Whoa... It's deserted." Kora said, as they walked through the city. The teenagers started working their way up a building, checking every room for anything. 

At the fifth floor of the building they walked into another 'office' and looked around the room. Then they heard Kora talking to somebody, "Are you okay? Don't worry I wont hurt you!" "Kora who are you talking to?" Dakota said walking up to Kora, Kay Lee following cautiously behind her. 

The group saw a little girl about four years old, looking scared to death at them. "Awe, it's alright sweetie we won't hurt you!" Dakota said, sitting by the little girl, "what's your name, honey?" The little girl nervously said, "R-rain...." "Well my name is Dakota, this is Kora, and this is Kay Lee! Where are your parents?" Dakota said happily. "I-I saw them get eaten by things that looked like dead people..." Rain said, tearing up. "Awe, it's okay sweetie, don't cry! We'll take care of you!" Dakota said hugging the little girl. 

Dakota was smiling, the girl in her arms sleeping. "Hey, Dakota, let's go take a walk!" Kay Lee said happily. Dakota put Rain in Kora's arms, "Sure lets go." 

Dakota and Kay Lee walked down the road, hand-in-hand. "Look flowers!" Dakota pointed at some roses, running up to them. Dakota picked a white rose and handed it to Kay Lee, "A rose for a girl more beautiful than any rose in the universe." Kay Lee giggled and took the flower, "Thanks, Kota!" 

The girls got back to the building and climbed the stairs to the fifth floor, but they couldn't find Kora, Rain, or Tank anywhere....
