Kay Lee and Dakota looked the building thoroughly, but couldn't find Kora and Rain anywhere. They were worried out of their wits, running around the city madly looking for the children. "Where could they be?" Kay Lee said through tears. Dakota grabbed her hand and squeezed it, "it's going to be okay, we'll find them." "And what if we don't?" Kay Lee said hopelessly. "Don't say that! We will." Dakota said as she looked through the hundredth building.
Kay Lee used the sword to slice off another cannibalistic creatures head. She used the walkie-talkie to talk to Dakota, "have you found them yet?" "Not yet." Dakota said sadly.
Kay Lee dropped to her knees, half screaming half crying. She had found the children and the dog, but they weren't as expected. They were in a puddle of their own blood. They were dead.
Dakota sat by Kay Lee, comforting her.
They didn't go anywhere or sleep at the end of the day.
They just wanted to die. Like the rest of the world.
