WHEN AVA WAS 10 YEARS OLD SHE FELL IN LOVE WITH MOVIES.

Any genre, basically anything her dad would allow her to see.

Her father took her to see the first Star Wars movie to celebrate the last day of school.

In truth she didn't really understand everything but she was hooked.

Fortunately, her father loved movies too, so whenever one would come out in the theaters, they would go see it.

When she was thirteen her father pulled her from her 7th grade class to go see The Empire Strikes Back and she swore that it was the greatest thing she had ever seen in her life.

Raiders of The Lost Ark was one of her dads personal favorites.

Neither of them admitted to crying during E.T but they both knew saw their red eyes at the end of the movie.

In the summer of 1983 her father was killed by a drunk driver on his way to pick her up from the house to go see Return Of The Jedi.

She remembered when the police showed up along with a lady that said she was going to help Ava get through it.

She ended up with her mother's sister in Philadelphia, a women she had never really known. Ava's mom was something no one really liked to talk about.

Kate wasn't very into movies but was nice enough.

Ava snuck out to see the last Star Wars by herself.

She loved it.

When Ava finished school in Philly, she wanted to live with her sister.

Iris was probably the coolest person she knew, even though she'd never tell her that.

She had been 7 when Ava was born and their mom left.

Iris and their father weren't as close as him and Ava but she always knew he loved her.

When she moved to Indiana unfortunately, he never really could find the money to go visit.

Ava remembered moving to Hawkins in the summer of 1986 after she had saved up enough money working at a sandwich shop in Philly.
It was definitely... different.

She had read all of the articles and seen the news about well... she didn't really know how to explain a whole small town government conspiracy nor did she really have the time.

It was two days after her birthday when she showed up on her sisters front door with two suitcases carrying everything she owned.
