Chapter 1 :Little Red

[Colbys p.o.v]

I made my way through the woods in my wolf form. I was a hellhound  sent to bring souls back to the big man. But instead I left with a different agenda. My thick jet black fur shimmered in the moon light as I ran. I was on a night run, I thought it was a nice night so why not. The wind had began to pick up as I made my way along the tree lining. The sent of caramel honey and vanilla hit my nose. I stopped in my tracks and sniffed the air. Eyes turning a darker shade at the wonderful scent. I growled as I ran picking up speed in the direction of the scent. Sprinting at top speed past tree after tree ducking and missing bushes and branches.

I soon came across a small frail boy in a red oversized pullover sweater. He was running in the same direction as I was. The scent hitting me hard as I got closer to the boy. Growling loud enough for him to stop to turn and look at me. The fear in his face was beyond simply scared and terrified. He froze in his spot as I passed by him going behind a tree still looking at him. He made the move to run and I growled letting him know that it's not in his best interest to do so. He whimpered in fear just staring at me. Moving forward towards him he backed up moving away from me. His breathing picked up heart beating faster and faster each second. Eventually his back hit a tree behind him hard he squeaked in pain. Growling again as I got closer to the boy he slid down the tree, tears slowly falling from his eyes.

"Please don't kill me" he said in a hushed tone to afraid to speak any louder.

I snarled showing him my long sharp teeth every single one of them sharp as Razer blades. Crying harder he pleaded for me not to kill him. I closed my mouth hiding my teeth with a few sticking out still. I moved my head in the direction of his stomach as I toward over his body which was much smaller than mine. He tried to move farther away as much as he possibly could whining from the pain the tree was giving his back. I looked at him in the eyes his purple hair had fallen into his eyes. The red of my eyes reflecting off of his brown ones. I went back down to his stomach and sniffed.

[Jakes p.o.v]

I was beyond terrified. A wolf was standing over me. It was obvious he wasn't a normal wolf he was two times larger than any wolf i had seen anywhere. I cried and whimpered away from him scared knowing that these maybe my last moments alive. At that moment he looked at me in the eyes staring at me with his big vibrant red ones. They were so memorizing i could just stare at them. I came back to reality when he moved even closer and whimpered trying to move back even more. He moved his giant head towards my stomach. I thought my life was over and he was going to eat me, but to my surprise he began to sniff the area. He made his way up to my neck, he seemed to enjoy the way I smelled because he pushed his wet snout into my neck pushing my head to side to get closer to my skin. I winced when his snout made contact with my skin not expecting the contact.

I had calmed down within that time, moving to make myself comfortable. It didn't seem he would be done with smelling me for awhile. I wasn't scared but I was still on edge. I figured If he wanted to kill me he would have done it by now. A breeze had made its way in my direction i had almost forgotten how cold it was. The heat from him keeping me warm. He pushed his nose into me more as if he wanted more of my scent. I whined from the angle my neck was at causing him to pull back.

"Your not going to kill me?" I said as I moved my head back to its normal position .

[Colbys p.o.v]

I tilted my head to the side after he asked the question. I then moved my head back and moved it side to side to signal 'no' which took him by surprise as he looked shocked that I understand him.

"You can understand me?" He spoke softly worried to raise his voice any higher.

I moved my head up and down to signal 'yes'  and his face turned to confusion as he looked at me. I layed down in front of him. As he starred at me. Moving closer i nuzzled my head into his leg so I could still smell him as I closed my eyes. I felt him move as a hand was on my head. Opening my eyes i looked at him as he rubbed me ear and I leaned into his touch. Standing up on all four i moved and licked the side of his neck marking him as mine as he squeaked in surprise. I smelled another wolf so I made it know he was mine.

I howled throwing my head back, the sound loud radiating from deep in my throat. When I finished I heard one close to mine recognizing it as sams, a member of my pack and my bestfriend. I looked back at the boy as I felt him staring at me. He looked down. I soon realized it was getting dark and I whined at him turning my head to look at him sideways, he looked back up at me.

"What's wrong?" He looked back and forth between my eyes trying to figure it out.

I pushed my snout into his chest and then looked behind me trying to tell him ' come with me'.

" do you want me to follow you? " he asked confused

I moved my head up and down signaling 'yes'  he got up looking at me weird not sure if he can trust me. So I rubbed my head against his leg.

"Ok" he said in the softest voice i have ever heard.
