chapter7: the morning after

(Jake p.o.v)

He fell asleep finally his body relaxed into my arms. I ran my hand though his hair slowly. I was happy. Even though i have no idea what's going to happen from here i was happy. Happy that he had found in the woods that day and happy to be mated with him. Im not entirely sure how being mated works but that's fine. Seems life can get better.
I could feel the sleep creeping up on me. I sighed contently, closing my eyes as i pulled him closer letting the sleep consume me whole.

~time skip~

(3rd p.o.v)

Sunlight streamed though the window as the early hours of morning came upon them. Pouring through the window there bare bodies glowing in the light. The sheet casually draped over the lower half's of their bodies as they slept. Cool  fall air flowing into the room though the half open window. Jake shifted softly under Colby as the light danced across his face. He began to stir awake. Opening his eyes and blinking a few time to adjust them to the brightness he looked around. There were piles of clothes and blanks and pillows thrown everywhere. He felt heavy ness on his chest and looked down finding a peaceful looking Colby. His features seemed relaxed and content un-bothered. He ran his hand along his back, colby made a content sound in his sleep.

Colby moved in his sleep a little shifting his body a bit. Jake froze memories flooding back to him. There was a stiffness in his hole and he suddenly remembered that they were still connect together by Colby. He released a breath of air he didnt know he was holding. Colby began to stir awake. Jake placed his hand on Colby's head caressing it as he woke up. A small yawn can be heard from him as he opened his eyes nuzzling his face in jakes neck. He left small kisses over the mating bond there shoving his nose in to it taking in his omegas scent.

(Jakes p.o.v)

"Good morning alpha" i said lowly as I licked at his mating bond. He hummed in response.

He slowly moved to look at me. I placed my hand on the back of his neck playing with his hair. He smiled leaning down to give me a small kiss on the lips. I felt him begin to slowly but carefully pull out. I whined from how sensitive I was. He stopped moving to lean down placing his lips over the bond and sucking on it lightly as he continued. He slid the rest of the way out and pulled away from my neck peppering comforting kisses all over my face. I giggled signaling i was alright he smiled getting out of bed. He was being oddly quiet.

He slipped on a pair of sweats and walked out the room. I sat up and i became uncomfortable. I suddenly wasn't enjoying the amount of light in the room and I was getting anxious being in bed. I swiftly stood up and sat on the floor feeling a little better but the floor was hard and uncomfortable. Whinning i grabbed at all the pillows on the floor making them into a round circle. But ifeatures enough. I grabbed all the blankets i could find wrapping and stuffing them to fill the weird nest looking structure i made. But it still didn't feel right i got up and walked over to the pile of clothes throwing all of Colby's clothes into it and placing on his sweater that smelled like him his scent calming me in a way.

I turned around and the light landed on my face and i whimpered running over to the windows closing the blinds and curtains to block out the light. I layed down im the nest trying to get comfortable but i need my alpha and he wasn't here. I began to cry i just wanted alpha I don't know what was wrong but i was extremely anxious and upset.

The door to the room suddenly flew out and colby shirtless red eyed and growling stood in the door way. I cried reaching out for him from my spot. He walked over to me quickly picking me up.

"A-al alpha" I cried into his shoulder wrapping around him tightly. He kissed my cheek and rubbed my back.

"I'm here what's wrong omega?" He spoke below a whisper. I whispered back that i didn't know.

He sat us down in the nest releasing his scent. I curled into him sighing as his scent wrapped around me like a blanket. I purred into his chest and he releases a low growl like purr back. I layed down and he hovered over me protectively. I relaxed under him curling in on myself calmly. Then there was a knock on the door he stopped purring and i whined. He kissed my cheek before leaving the nest and cracking the door open slightly growling at the person at the door.

"I know im sorry to interupt but there's a person at the door thats looking for jake and your his alpha so....." The voice sounded like sam. He seemed bothered by the way he spoke. Colby sighed looking over at me as I sat up.

"Go its ok I'll wait" he smiled and nodded closing the door behind him. Now i need to just wait.

(Colbys p.o.v)

I followed Sam down the stair towards the door. Wondering who knew he was and who was looking for him.

"How many people are at the door?" I asked using my alpha voice looking him dead in the eyes mine red.

"4 alpha" he retorted quickly. I nodded and waved him off.

Opening the door I was met with 4 young looking men around jakes age. I crossed my arms over my bare chest as i looked all of them over.

"How can i help you?" I spoke roughly confused. Scrunching my eyebrows as i looked at them.

"Um yeah by any chance is there a jake here?" The the smallest of the 4 spoke up with a smile on his face.

"Why do you need to know?" I looked at him sharply my eyes flashing red shocking them all.

"Well we are his friends from school and we lost him the other day here in the woods and he hadn't showed up to school in a few days so we stumbled upon your house and figured he was here" the much taller and sophisticated one of the group said. I growled realizing who they were.

"Your the assholes who tried to rape him". I growled loudly slowly beginning to wolf out.
