chapter 3: the roomies

I walked out of my room in nothing but a pair of sweats. Making my way towards him. (Making my way down walking fast.....sorry my bad)I grabbed his sweater clad hand and made our decent down the stairs to the kitchen. Majority of the roommates were there so mine as well make do.

"Morning" I said in my alpha voice to gain all of there attention.

"Who's that?" The one with the beard spoke.

"If you waited you would know" i growled out. Jake placing his hand on my back to sooth me which it did.

"My bad continue" he said looking back down at his cup.

" this is jake, Jake thats Elton, the blonde one is Sam you met him yesterday, and man bun is corey. You might see Aaron later". I said he nodded as he looked at me.

"Hi I'm little red riding hood nice to meet you". He said with a smile they all laughed a frown took over his features. I growled at them.

My eyes turned red and a black Smokey rim formed around them as the black smoke came out of my body. I was pissed they made fun of my mate.They all gulped getting up from their seats and backing up.

" were sorry alpha we thought he was kidding we didn't know he was serious " Sam choked out his words.

I was about to attack them when I felt two arms wrap around my waist. I looked down to see Jakes head on my shoulder.

"It's ok just relax" he whispered into my ear. He began to rub circles with his thumbs into my hips and I relaxed into his touch. Closing my eyes the smoke disappeared. I opened my eyes again and they were back to blue. I just let him hold me there.

"It's ok" he cuddled closer to me. I wrapped my arms around his which were still around my waist and looked at the roommates. Mouthing to them the word ' mate' their eyes went wide looking at jake. I smiled looking down at him. I looked back at them who were now moving closer to me and him, I glared as they put there hands up in defence.

"Sorry Jake we didn't know you were serious" corey said looking at him with a concerned face.

" It's alright it happens a lot when I say that" he lifted his head from my shoulder when he said that. He smiled. Looking down at him I realized he must be hungry.

"Breakfast?" i asked tapping him signaling to let go as I moved towards the kitchen area.

"Yes I am hungrier than a brick on a stick" he said holding his stomach. I began to slowly turn around to look at him. As I was about to ask how he stopped me.

" don't worry about it" he said. I nodded at him and continued to make him eggs and bacon.( I meant to say pancakes but eggs came out).

He finished his breakfast as we made our way to my room. Sitting down on my bed i watched as he ate legs crossed sitting in my desk chair. I began to wonder when I should tell him. Then it occurred to me. What was he doing in the woods at that time of night?
