Chapter 3

•Dylan's POV•
Do you know that feeling of nervousness and feeling excited as well as anxious about what will happen next? Well, let's just say that's what happened to me this morning.
I got up, got ready and drove to school. As I rounded the corner before school, I remembered about the party some dude was throwing on the beach tonight.
'I could go' I thought, I mean it is Friday after all.
I parked in my spot near the entrance, got my bag and walked in. Just after I walked in, I spotted Summer standing near her locker.
She was with that girl Casiddy or Casey or something anywho but yeah. She looked more amazing than ever. she was wearing a crop long sleeve top with ripped jeans and converse sneakers.
I've known her for about 7 weeks now and I just can't stop myself from falling for her. I've managed to keep my guard up though but every time I see some douche from our school check her out, I feel like punching them.
She is NOT like all those whores in our school, she has something special and those boys are immature.
"Hey bro" My friend Josh greeted me.
"Hi" I replied not taking my eyes off Summer.
"Whashfk agre uoud lekfn"
"Wait what dis you say man?" I got so distracted by Summer, I didn't even realize that Josh was speaking to me.
"You coming tonight?" Josh asked laughing.
"Oh yeah, yeah I think so."
"Cool bro, oh man. Here comes your girlfriend" Josh said tauntingly
Just then a tall figure blocked my view from Josh and I could just see a girls mop of hair. Unlike Summers beautiful waves, this was sprayed with some hair spray that made it look stiff and horse like.
'Danielle' I thought, who else can it be. Ugghhh
"Hi baby" She said, batting her eye lashes.
'WTF, that's not even sexy' I thought.
"Oh hi" I said "And one thing I wanted to tell you, we're NOT going out" I spat at her.
She looked behind her, almost as if at Summer who was now eying us and then leaned in to kiss me.
Nothing.
Thats what I felt what she kissed me, just after she started kissing me, I looked at Summer who had a look of hurt on her face. The look was quickly replaced with a neutral look and she turned around and carried in talking to her friend.
I swear I saw a gleaming tear in her eye.
I pushed Danielle of me and told her to get away. She left, but not before she said "Call me babe, it's more sexy"
•Summers POV•
I woke up this morning fresh and ready for the day. I don't know why but I was extra bubbly today.
It's been 10 weeks since I moved to Miami, 7 at school. I am proud to say that I have made 3 wonderful friends. After my little meet with Casedy on the first day, I have been sitting with her at lunch and we walk home together too.
She introduced me to her friends, Mike and Savannah.
She has spilled her guys out to me over the passed few weeks, and I feel comfortable around her too.
We have some subjects together and have fun on the weekends together too. She really is amazing and I can't believe how great she is!
I got ready and before I headed out of the house, I got a text from an un known number,
"Stay away from him or you'll get it from me." it read
Who's 'him' and 'me'? I wondered.
This is kinda freaky.
Speaking of freaky, ever since Dylan and Danielle have been dating, every biology period, she comes to sit on his lap before the teacher comes in and starts kissing him out of no where.
It's gross.
I met Casedy at her house today and we started walking, we got to school and after getting Casedy's books, we headed to my locker.
We had english first period, I share this with Dylan, Casedy and Mike. conveniently, the class in which we have it is right next to my locker.
Just as we started talking, Dylan walked in and started talking to his friend Josh? I think that's his name.
"OMG!" Cassidy said. "Dylan is TOTALLY checking you out!" she almost screamed.
Gosh! she is so loud sometimes.
"No he's not." I said looking at my feet as the blush made its way to my cheeks.
Just then, Danielle came and started talking to him. she looked at me and all at once just kissed him.
"Even if he was, looks like he's a bit busy now" I said as I rolled my eyes. The truth is, I actually rolled my eyes trying to suppress tears that threatened to spill.
I like Dylan.
Alright! I confess, I get jealous when I see them. I turned around so no one besides Cassidy could see me.
After a long English lesson, Dylan came up to me just as I reached the parking lot and stopped me from behind.
"Hi Summer."
"Hi Dylan" I said as I plastered a smile into my face.
"Umm so.. I was wondering Summer, would you like to go to the beach party tonight? maybe, with me. Maybe?"
Woah, urrm okay. I did NOT expect that.
"I mean, a bunch of us are all going as well as Danielle and Josh and all the rest so yeah"
"Oh umm, yeah sure. Cassidy was talking about it, I'd love to" I answered with a smile. "I hope Danielle would be fine with it though "
"Cool, don't worry. She'll be fine" he said "see you at the party" he waved goodbye and left
Well I'm in for a surprise I thought to myself. this night with Danielle is sure going to be fun.
Yes, I'm dripping with sarcasm.
*okay so that was longish. We won't be updating for a while. We have exams. okay bye*
