Chapter 4- He's Dreaming

Tadano's P.O.V:

It's been weeks since i started negotiating with the CEO of Chararyman Trading. I know it's not really professional to present an incomplete project but if i was going to make a difference in society, ENI-O had to impress, big time.

So far the deal has been of great success. In few years time, my artificial intelligence system will be a household necessitie, improving lives for the better.

Once the meeting was over i got to my limo and basically flung myself onto the cushiony seat, all while giving a big yawn.

Kobaiyashi, who was reading a book, put it down and turned to face me in my tired state. "Welcome back sir, the meeting went well i presume?"

"You know it." I peeled off my black suit coat, tossing it to the floor and lounged in my red undershirt feeling all drained out. ENI-O put the limo into drive and soon we were out on the road.

Since {Y/n} was at work for the day i didn't want to distract her from her job.

Speaking of {Y/n}, i couldn't stop thinking about her, not for a second. after the many nights we've spent together, I've really grown attached to her and it shows.

I was too busy in my thoughts that i didn't realize the limo had come to slow stop. "ENI-O, what's backing up traffic?"  "Data shows a light post has fallen onto oncoming cars. Will evaluate more on the situation."
with a small nod I sat back and listened to the hum of the engine trying to get my mind off of things.

Managing a social life and developing multimedia AI technology isn't always easy to balance.

If i wasn't stuck in meetings all the time, i would be spending it with {Y/n}.

Even if she doesn't tell me directly, i can tell she dislikes her job. No one should be stuck in a job that steals their life.

I want to help {nickname} out, in any way that i can. Maybe i should ask her.. it's worth a shot, right? For her happiness.

Sitting up straight, I checked my phone then slipped it back into my pocket. "ENI-O, to the airport."

After getting a bite to eat at Hokkaido Ramen i took my jet out for a flight. I needed to be off the ground for a while.

While piloting, I noticed the clouds became more dense almost like thick puffy pillows.

The view of the city lights were so breath taking i couldn't help but smile at how peaceful this night turned out to be.

Maybe i shouldn't have given up on driving so easily. If i want to prove I'm just like everyone else, i have to lead by example.

Suddenly a static sound blared through my headset only to hear the voice of a concerned Kobaiyashi. "Is everything alright sir? You've been gone for nearly an hour!" Instead of giving a response, i turned off the earpiece and set it down on the rack.

Right now... i need to think for myself.

{Y/n} is a very special person and i see a future where we can both be successful in our own ways.

I just hope she'll feel the same.

Who knows, maybe her business will be more successful than mine. Wouldn't that be cool.

ENI-O will be ready for public launch in few years time. I still have to work things out with the people over at Chararyman Trading. I'm sure it'll all go smoothly.

You loose track of time when you're getting your thoughts sorted out that I didn't realize it was half past 12 am.

Making a turn, i headed back to the airport more open minded then when i left.

My limo being the first to greet me, i stepped in and huffed out a breath of air.

"Welcome back sir. We will arrive at our next destination in approximately 15 minutes." "Thanks ENI-O. Wake me up when we get there okay." "Affirmative."

With that i sank into the comfort of my 'makeshift' bedsheet. Tomorrow will bw a better day.

{Hey peeps! ^w^  i apologize for getting this chapter out later than i had originally planned. Consider this as a filler chapter since nothing really eventful goes on. Just Tadano in his feelings lol 😂 It is 2 AM as I'm writing this cause for some reason I focus more when everyone is dead asleep.
