Lilly's POV

I never knew saying goodbye to a rouge would be hard. I always thought of them as the ones in the wrong. Of course that's all I've been taught.

But when I was down there for a night, I might have felt bad for leaving them down there. But I left knowing that these were the good rouges who were only trying to survive.

I'll never forget Oldie's game and Hunch's whines. I mean I spent the entire night with them. I got used to it pretty quickly.

When I left the prison, and walked back to the pack house with Lukas and Alpha Skies, I lagged behind so I could mesmerize the way back.

"Lilly how was it in that cell? Did you loose your mind like Lukas suggested?" My mom asked, interrupting my thoughts.

I looked at her from the backseat. "No I didn't loose my mind. But it was fine." I told her.

She nodded her head and looked back out the window.

When we were on the drive back home, I was fully clothed and had a lot of questions. Number one being what did Alpha Skies mean of Luke's proposal.

Lukas told me of their meeting and what Luke did for a living. I was shocked I never knew such a thing existed. I just thought the Alpha's did all of that.

"Lilly, now that we are allies with The Red Lillies Pack what do you think?" Lukas asked.

Why was he asking me such a question? I don't even know how I feel, frankly because I was never in that position to make.

"I don't know. Politically, it's good for our pack but personally? I don't know." I told him truthfully.

He hummed in response. The atmosphere in the truck was awkward and I didn't like it. I checked the time it has been two hours since we've been driving.

I groaned. "We have two more hours to go don't we?" I said to no one in particular.

My mom replied with a yes. I slouched in my seat. Lukas still had the aux cord but the music was low. I reached over the front and turned up the volume.

"There." I said.

Lukas rolled his eyes and my mom pulled out a book. I leaned my head against the window and looked at the scenery. Soon enough I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

°~°

I woke up to the sound of screeching tires. My eyes shot open to see familiar pack grounds. I picked up my head and looked out the dashboard.

Luke's jeep was dangerously close to ours. My mom had a death grip on the door handle and Lukas was tensed in his seat.

"Lukas I told you to pay attention!" My mom hissed.

Lukas cringed, "Sorry mom."

"What happened?" I asked.

"Your brother didn't pay attention as Luke was slowing down." My mom said.

"Idiot." I mumbled.

We watched in silence as Luke conversed with the gaurd. The gaurd waved his hand and pointed a finger at the gate. Signaling to open it.

After a few minutes of the black gate opening, Luke drove the jeep on to pack territory. We followed soon after.

We passed the village as we drove deeper into the forest. I looked out the window, familiar trees and paths came into view, and so did our house.

As soon as we parked in the garage, I got out,and sniffed the air. Different smells of the forest, animals, and my house wafted through my nostrils.
