[3rd Person POV]

The moon shines brightly on the sky, reflecting its light on waterfalls where are water lilies can be found.

There, a nine tailed fox is drinking, feverishly licking the clear water with heavy breathe from running. Its big tails sway with the cold wind as it shivers.

As the fox get finished drinking, he decides to take a nap under a big oak tree right beside the waterfall. The birds chirp, creating a perfect harmony with the gushing water and crickets. It lays down under the tree as he wraps his tails around his small body, closes its eyes and enjoys the peaceful nature.

On the other side, bloody red eyes are lurking at the darkness, staring the vixen in such short distance. He carefully walks toward it without making a sound.

He growls lowly as he smells its fragrance scent again, making his hunger more undeniable. It's his first time to crave animal blood since he feels disgusted of it before. The fragrance is cannot be described.

The closer he walks, the more he wants to feast it until he steps on a branch, making a rustling noise. He stops with his eyes widens as he watches the fox stirs from its nap, slowly opening his different colored eyes.

As if the time stops, the two creature look at each other with their shocking eyes. Blue and green to red. Both of them feel the string attached from each other as they feel complete. As if they feel their heart beats faster than the usual. As if they are destined for each other. The moonlight shines so bright on the two, they have known that the moon goddess congratulates then for finding each other.

After that, they realise what they are for each other—

Soulmate.

"Mine.." Jun mumbles as he walks toward the kitsune while it's cowering on the tree. The other's whimper start to get loud as Junhui tries to touch him, making him to realise that his mate is no ordinary fox.

A kitsune.

He observes the fox as it continues to whimper. Its fur is white as snow, while its eyes have different colors. The right eye is blue as the ocean while the other is green as a meadow. It's very small yet its tails are huge and many. He can be sure that this creature is an omega.

His omega.

While the fox also observes the man in front of him. His skin is pale white, making his silver hair look invisible, while his eyes are ruby red. He can see the fangs on his narrowed lips, reminding of what kind of creature he is. Yet he can sense that this vampire is an alpha.

His soulmate is an alpha.

The fox is about to run off since he knows Hakyeon will be mad, not only he should be back by now but he encounters someone he shouldn't, yet the other stops him.

"Shift," the other speaks with cold voice as he is staring at the fox.

It don't move nor budge, it remains silent as its feet stuck on the ground.

The vampire get impatient and use his alpha tone on the small animal.

"I said shift!" His tone is still cold yet has full authority.

The startled fox turns back to its human form as quick as it can, then reveals that the fox is a male.

His hair is black as the night sky and his skin is fair. His eyes are brown, different from earlier yet his fox ears and enormous tails are visible, making him look more like a hybrid. He wraps his tails around him as he realises that he's naked which his clothes are back at his hyung.

"W-what do you want?" Minghao asks as he shivers from the cold yet his glare towards the cold blood remains strong.

Junhui stays silent as he stares back from the glare. His eyes move from the other's eyes to his neck. His hunger suddenly undeniable yet seeing that his meal is actually his mate.

He walks toward Minghao as he strips off his jacket and wraps it around the shivering fox.

"Where do you live?" He asks once he surprisingly lifts Minghao in a bridal style, making him yelp and quickly wraps his arms around his neck, not realising how their face is so close– not to mention Junhui can see Minghao's pulse on his neck, making more tempting to mark the omega.

The fox blushes as he looks at the vampire helplessly, feeling his cold skin touching his. The fox's ears drops on his head as he feels Junhui starts to walk on a certain direction, making him nervous.

"I- I work here.. As a hunter and guard–" His voice is quivering while he observes Junhui's reaction.

The vampire chuckles softly as he starts walking to the direction where the station is, which Taekwoon-hyung mentioned earlier.

"So, my mate is not only a kitsune but also a hunter? Why aren't you a thug?"

The fox is not impressed by the red eyes comment, growls in process making him laugh.

"My mate is a Tsundere one, isn't he? Well, I would like to know more but for now, I want to know my mate's name."

"... The name is Xu Minghao."

"Oh? You're a Chinese also? Fate must really like to play matchmaking,"

"What's your name..?" He asks with soft tone, almost not hearing it.

The vampire smiles softly as he soften on the fox.

"Your mate's name is Wen Junhui, my fox."
