[Junhui's POV]

"I thought we'll be going to the bar?!" I scream at Taekwoon-hyung once we are in front of an electric fence which there are many trees on the other side of it.

"Do I look like a bar-type of guy to you, Junhui?" Taekwoon-hyung asks with a cold sarcastic tone while his gold-like eyes is piercing with a glare. His raven black wings moves makes, making the atmosphere more intimidating. A Demon.

"W-well I.. uh I thought we will go to the bar so we can eat.." I stutter while backing away since he is staring at me with a scary look.

If a stare can kill, I have been dead minutes ago.

He facepalms as he sighs, his eyes changes its color into black then turns around to the fences. He opens his wings and flaps them making the wind hits my face.

"Look Junhui, as a new member of my clan, you have to follow my rules and respect me as I return the same for your own good," He turns around then continues, "Unlike back to your parents or your hometown, we follow the rules here since there are consequences for getting blood from humans unless we're severely wounded. We have a specific place where we can drink blood or hunt animals like here."

"What?! But I don't drink animal blood! Especially when it's cute and adorable..." I mumble the last part since I am shy to admit that I like small animals like cats. I feel my ears goes red as I look down from embarrassment.

I look up once I hear him laughing softly, making his cheekbones go up and his eyes turn into crescent. He looks like a happy kitten.

He gives me a genuine smile before he speaks, "Don't worry, neither do I dislike to feed on an animal since I love them yet its better than from humans. Besides, we only do this when it's necessary like the warehouse is out of blood or when we run out of supply or we really need blood."

I nod then asks, "I see– yet may I ask why demons like you can only intake emotions and feelings to gain energy?"

He sighs before explaining, "Because we can also eat normal human food to manifest our hunger yet it is not enough. So, some of us seek for more, to the point that they start to eat human or other supernatural which leads to chaos. But that changed when one of us discovered that we can also intake emotions, fear, feelings and other stuff which is enough for our intake. Then our species decided to set a rule that no demon can manifest any human or supernatural body so we can have peace with the others."

"But how do you eat emotions and feelings?"

"It depends yet the easiest way is that you can sense the prey's feelings and have to look them at their eyes to feel it."

"Oh, okay.." I scratch my nape as I intake the whole information."Now, enough with the questions. You have to be feed before someone sees us. I hope you're not a messy eater or else we'll run out of time," He rants as he goes behind me and holds my arm.

Not knowing what he is doing, a second later I can hear a flapping sound and realise that my feet can't touch the ground.

"Y-yah! You never mentioned we are going to the forest by flying."

"Well, I wanna surprise someone so we won't go through the entrance of this forest. I just thought of maybe using my wings is the best option for now."

"Still! That doesn't change the fact that i am far from the ground!"

He shushes me as he flies toward the forest, not minding me who's internally screaming right now.

Afterwards, I get to manage flying and we land in the middle of the forest. I can already sense the nature, from the scent of grasses to the oak woods. From the chirping of hummingbirds to the water from the waterfalls, from zooming my eyes on a daisy slowly blooming.

I am enjoying myself when I hear a twig snap. I sense that there is someone or something in here yet I can't point out what it is.

My eyes turn red when I catch the scent of fragrance nearby. My throat starts to dry as my fangs start to grow then growls as the scent is slowly fading, meaning the prey is starting to leave.

I snarl when someone pats my shoulder, realising it is Teakwoon-hyung. His eyes become wide when he sees my state, making me calm down.

"Looks like you're really hungry, you can go ahead to hunt while I will be at the station nearby where the hunters usually staying," He says and turns his back on me and walks to the dark, only seeing his wings slowly getting away from me.

I sigh as I run towards the opposite direction where the scent came from, having the urge to see where it came from. I sprint so fast where I can't manage to see the things surround me, having the adrenaline rush.

By the way, Wen Junhui is the name and is also known as Moon Junhui in Korean. A 20 years old and a third-year college, taking the course– business management and also have a career in modelling. And lastly—
