Green curls bounced gently as his head fell back onto the door of his dorm room. He couldn't help but feel knots grow in his stomach as guilt swirled up from his feet and tumbled through his body. His collection of books clattered next to him as his body sank and he hugged his knees. It was rather pathetic, he thought. He was a hero in training for crying out loud! he shouldn't have been balled up on the floor and on the verge of tears for a break up. A break up. Is that really what it was? To be honest what he and Todo had didn't feel like a relationship. Not besides the label, of course. The two never kissed or hugged or held hands. They never gave each other nicknames or changed their names in their contacts. None of that was important, but Deku couldn't seem to find the will to follow through any of it really. It was almost as if he knew from the beginning they wouldn't last.

Warm tears stung the pale skin of Izuku's cheeks. He didn't particularly know why he was crying. Sometimes there are too many feelings and thoughts flooding a person's mind, and sometimes, the pressure of those thoughts and emotions become too much and leaks happen. They happen in the form of salty, stinging tears that glide across pale completions and stain the shoulders of shirts. Or in Midoriya's case, they stained his forearms as he buried his face into his crossed arms as they rested on his knees. His body tensed as he struggled to breathe deeply. An achy feeling rose in the back of his throat as he fought back a sob. His bottom lip quivered momentarily before it was caught between his teeth. He swore he heard his stomach drop. Scurrying to his feet and slapping a hand over his mouth, he stumbled to his small dorm bathroom. He didn't have time to wince before his knees smacked the cold, light blue tiles covering the floor. The color in his knuckles faded as he clung to the toilet and wretched above it, emptying the contents of his stomach into the porcelain bowl.

Salty tears once again fell from the corners of his eye. They slipped down the shape of his face, leaving behind wet trails as they did. His voice choked as struggled sob crackled from his lips. He vomited again. His eyes squeezed shut as he tried to imagine something happy, Anything to make this situation better than it was.

The only thing his mind ran to was Kacchan.

He envisioned some kind of alternate universe where a certain Ash blonde with Ruby eyes kneeled behind him on the same cold floor. He imagined a catalysted hand gelntly rubbing circles into his back and a hoarse, but calming voice whispering sweet nothing in his ear as he tried to calm him. In this universe, Izuku would wipe his mouth on the sleeve of his jacket, quickly turning and immediately burying his head into the chest of his lover, his alpha. This really only made him sob harder in reality. He felt so horrible. He felt guilty for leading Todoroki on like he had. And for using him to play pretend, to fill a void. He felt so alone, there, on that light blue tiled floor.

Subconsciously, the grip on the toilet bowl shifted, allowing it to be used as support when Izuku lifted himself from the floor. His eyes stung from crying. His cheeks were cold from the frigid air of the dorm clinging to the trails left behind by tears. His stomach ached and a sour taste filled his mouth. He absolutely hated every bit of it.

A ding echoed through his, now silent room. He quickly looked to the sink, splashing water into his face. He wiped his face with a hand towel quickly, ridding his face of sicky tears. His scarred hand slipped into the pocket of his uniform, wrapping around the sides of his phone before swiftly carrying it out.

Izukus eyes widened slightly at the name which rose to the top of his notifications bar. He had completely forgotten about Meeting with Shoto. There was not real reason he still couldn't go. He wasn't sick, he knew that. It was just stress. And so, they texted, arranging the meeting, a fake happy front hiding the sence that went moments before.
