The sun blazed over the jungle world Ajan Kloss, leaving the greenery to shine vibrantly. The Resistance remained holed up in a bunker that sat hidden among the forests, in hopes that the First Order may overlook them and never find them. The esteemed General held high hopes that the Resistance could regrow, and in a year's time there has been no such luck. The First Order had only grown, spreading their corrupt influence across the galaxy at an alarming rate- and at any given chance, they made sure to wipe out sympathizers of the Resistance.

Within the vegetation of the vibrant jungle, the ex-stormtrooper Finn and the Resistance's best pilot Poe sat by ship cargo set out by the rebel's bunker. The two had dug through a few crates and took to cleaning off the blasters and checking their different mechanisms to make sure they were in prime condition. With the sun heating up the jungle, the humidity alone was enough to ruin the guns. One by one they both checked the burdensome weapons, wiping down every cranny, checking the safety, readjusting the scopes, and evaluating the crystals and adapters.

"So tell me again, what is all of this for? Why so many weapons? This is more than enough to supply an army!" Finn said in disbelief.

"Well, the General has managed to reach out to many of our allies and enemies of the First Order across the galaxy. These are essentially welcome gifts for them. I think she wants a few organizations to meet us here." Poe explained. Finn let out a huff as he dug through a crate full of thermal detonators.

A blur of white emerged from the rebel bunker. Finn and Poe's faces burst into broad grins when their friend joined them in the cleaning chaos. The scavenger turned Jedi greeted her friends with a smile and crouched down to the earth beneath them. Around the forest, the birds and other small creatures made a fuss, looking for food and communicating in their languages of nature.

"I see you're preparing for our company. Need any help?" She asked, referring to the unkept clutter of artillery.

"Actually, yeah. We could use some help. Which one of Leia's allies was it that were supposed to be here?" Poe asked. Rey looked off blankly for a moment then responded.

"Shroud Regiment. Leia reached out to their general, Racz Blaccrr. The First Order has been giving them a lot of trouble and they've been fighting above Pasaana for a day or so."

As Finn listened to the conversation, he found a burlap bag in a crate with explosive charges. Furrowing his brows in confusion, he dig through the bag and pulled out a large ball with multiple blasters littered on its surface.

"Hey what is this thing?" He called out. Poe stopped mid-sentence and stared at the ball for a moment, trying to remember where he saw it last.

"Oh, I know what that is! It's a training remote. It's supposed to be used to teach Jedi to deflect blaster fire. This could've been Luke's." Rey said excitedly. Finn tossed it to Poe and he threw it to Rey. She examined the white ball in her hands, pressed a button on the side and tossed it in the air.

The training remote darted from side to side, turning on an axis to aim a designated blaster at Rey. She grabbed it and switched it off again, then placed it back in the bag Finn found.

"I can fool around with that later." She said. Just then, the com link in Poe's pocket started to beep and blink.

"Poe, come to my division, and bring Rey and Finn. There's a new matter to discuss and have sorted out." Leia's weathered voice spoke through the speaker.

"Alright, on the way now, General." Poe responded. "Okay, you heard the lady, let's go." Finn let out a long breath.

"Finally we can stop cleaning these. What do you think this could be all about?" He asked. Rey shrugged her shoulders.

"I just hope we get to go somewhere. I would really like to see new ecosystems." She said with hope. The group of friends walked into the bunker and headed towards Leia's division. Around the bunker, many terminals were set up; security, communications, intelligence, etc. All the officers buzzed about throughout the days, reporting any new information ranging from infrastructure to any incoming attacks, secret codes picked up on their channels and others of the sort.

"Hi General. How may we be of service?" Poe asked with a broad grin. The General was like the mother Poe never had, he was always willing to do anything for her, and strived to be the son she deserves.

"Right to the point. Good to hear. The First Order is growing in numbers, and we're all but there. We have a few organizations and alliances on our side but so few are able to get where they need to be without conflict with the First Order. I'm sending you three to Kijimi. There's a group of bounty hunters and scoundrels, our type of people, who I believe will stand with us against the Order. I would like it for you all to prepare for departure and make your journey there 2 days from now."

"Say no more, General, I know exactly who to speak to! Alright. Anything else?"

"Rey, Finn... dress weather appropriate, it's going to be a bit frosty." Leia smiles at them warmly, then turned her back towards her desk. Inside, Rey grew quite excited to be going to another planet. Once she finally let go of being stuck on Jakku for 15 years, Rey became more happy about visiting different places, all the new ecosystems and cities were all amazing to her. Maybe with luck, things over on Kijimi would turn out right.
