no, i'm a bit clueless.

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS FOR?

My thoughts ran as I sat next to Hunk, the barrier between me and the others. The door to the principal's office was opened, followed by the entrance of Allura and Shiro. "Allura has a proposition for all of you," Coran clapped his hands gleefully. I glanced up at him, my arms crossed and one leg on top of the other as I sat in the cushioned white chair.

I quirked a brow at her, but she avoided my gaze. "Seeing that Allura's father owns this school, he has decided to give the students a break before final exams. With that, school will be closed from tomorrow onwards until next Monday." Coran smiled brightly and Pidge took the words from my mouth. "So, why are we being told about it?"

"Because Allura also wanted to talk to you all about something she has planned for you all to do during the break. I should skedaddle on over to the office and announce it to the school!" Coran chirped before doing just as he said. He rushed out the door, slamming it behind him as I could hear his footsteps retreating towards the office.

Allura sighed, a small smile on her lips. Her British accent stuck out again as she spoke. Sometimes I forget that she has an accent since I barely talk to her and Coran's isn't as prominent as hers. "So, Shiro and I planned a nice camping trip." Lance must've opened his mouth to protest, but she held up a hand.

"You aren't exactly camping. It's like camping, but you'll have hotel rooms. Shiro and Keith, Pidge and Y/n, Hunk and Lance, and I'm left with my own room." I rolled my eyes silently. Figured. It's in her nature to at least pamper herself somewhat. Shiro caught my action and stepped on my right foot, making me quietly hiss in pain.

I saw Y/n glance at me from the corner of my eye, but I didn't make any movement. Though, the simple movement of her giving me some attention felt good. I couldn't explain it. Allura smiled joyfully, seeming that she was looking forward to the trip. "Nonetheless, we'll have a wonderful time. Be ready by tonight at six, I'll be there to pick you up in my minivan!"

I knew exactly what car she was talking about. Allura had a disgusting lavender colored minivan that was parked in the parking lot. By God, I hated that car. The color just didn't look good and it looked terrible in the lighting. However, there must've been a change as Lance perked up, "The new one that you bought?!"

Allura sighed, "Unfortunately," She paused, looking at all of us equally. "However, that means you have an even greater reason to not make a mess!" She held up her index finger, seeming like a strict mother. Lance had the audacity to say something, "Hear that, Keith?" I closed my eyes, leaning further back into the seat.

"Yeah, I do unfortunately hear your voice."

Even Pidge couldn't stifle her snicker, covering her mouth with her hand. She shook her head, waving dismissively at Lance. "Sorry not sorry," Pidge coughed, passing her fit of laughter as a cough. Lance glared playfully at her, but didn't say anything. I smirked lightly, but made sure not to make it too visible.

"You all should head back to class then," She smiled lightly, gesturing for us to walk out the door. We all walked out and headed separate ways. All of us had some kind of variation in our math classes, that and we had them at different times. Right now, I was stuck in Calculus with Mr. Grayson.

He usually didn't teach us very much, passing out on the desk. He'd give us work and leave us alone, the textbook page numbers scribbled onto the chalkboard. I flipped another page of the textbook, reading it and copying down the equation on the paper. I chewed the inside of my right cheek, blinking and twirling the mechanical pencil in my right hand.

Math always frustrated me. I always hated the stupid equations and how it usually made no sense. The rules would be reset with each chapter and then it would just twist around as if the rules from before didn't exist at all. It was stupid and confusing, completely and utterly pointless.

I turned another page, but at this point I had mentally given up. I slumped onto the desk, not like anyone noticed. My head dropped onto my arms and I let out a tired sigh, briefly closing my eyes. I haven't gotten much sleep lately and if my classmates could please shut up, then maybe I could get some shuteye?

But even I know that it'd be fruitless. I doubted any of my classmates would shut up for the sake of me getting some sleep. I let out a quiet grumble, followed by an irritated huff. I turned my head away, facing the wall instead. Opening my eyes to stare at the bland wall beside me, I heard Coran excitedly talk about what he'd told me and the others in the office earlier.

I don't need to hear this again.

I packed up early, figuring that I can do at least something productive. I must've fallen asleep sometime since the hour had passed so fast. In fact, half of my classmates were already hoarding at the door, eager to leave and get home for the rest of the break. Seeing that just reminded me that I had to head home to pack up for tonight.

I let out another tired groan, rubbing my sleepy eyes and slowly getting up from my seat. I made sure I had my keys before grabbing my backpack and swinging it over my shoulder. Double checking to make sure that it was all zipped up, I waited for the school bell to ring. Students flooded out of their classrooms and into the corridor, leaving at a rapid pace.

I soon followed after. God, I can't wait to go home.
