I've missed you" I whispered.

"I've missed you too" He whispers back, softly in my ear.

"Tell me something? Why are we staying inside when it's an amazing day out?" I say courageously.

"It's cold." He laughs. "And it's gunna start raining"

I loved hearing him laugh, his laugh made me smile.

"So? That doesn't mean we can't go out?" I laugh back.

"No" He playfully whined.

"C'mon" I smiled. I took his hand and lead him to my backyard.

For what seemed like an hour or two, we took turns to swing on the tire hanging from a tree out back. I mostly sat on the tire while Teo pushed me. Then we played a simple game of tag until we got too tired and felt childish.

We laughed it off, which felt nice. Soon later we laid on the ground, in his arms, looking up at the clouds. The smell of his cologne filled my lungs, the smell was sweet but manly.

I smiled to myself. This is the life that I would never trade it for the world.

"Can you stay until late?" I ask Teo as we walk back inside.

"I got in a fight with my mum. She wants me back before dark" He frowns.

I pout. "What?" He whines.

"See you tomorrow?" I grin, giggling.

He crashed his lips onto mine. Our lips moving in sync, I couldn't help but smile through the kiss. His lips were sweet. I loved it. His hands travelled to my waist and my hands found there way up to his hair. I grabbed a fistful of his hair and played with it.

He held me tight.

I couldn't help but not smile.

We broke the kiss, gasping for air.

"You'll stay with me?" I whisper.

"Until the very end." Teo smiles as he presses his forehead against mine.

After I left Rose's house, I made my way home. It was a peaceful walk, something I really needed. But as reached my house, I already knew what I was getting myself into.

I shut the door behind me, making sure it didn't make a sound. Quickly, I took my jacket off, following with my boots and made my way to the kitchen. As I made my way there, I noticed my dad was in the living room watching tv. I leaned up at the door way and took in the sight as if this was the first time I saw it this way.

Beer bottles surrounding him. Some placed standing on the floor, some laying down and some shattered bottles that made a pool of alcohol and chunks of glass.

He had been watching wrestling but fell asleep. I walked over to the tv and turned it off. Making sure I didn't step on any glass, I made my way to the kitchen to find my mom.

She was chopping up pieces of carrot and carefully placing it in this small pot.

She heard me walk in and looked right up to me. She smiled and ran towards holding me in an embrace.

"I love you Teo" She cried and I held my mom tight.

"You too mom" I whispered back.

The dinner table was quiet, like always. Mom sitting at her end of the table, my father at the other and me on the side. Nothing was different. It's been like that for the last 3 years.

Once we finished my father went upstairs to sleep without another word (not like he said anything) and mum began to clean the table on her own. I began to help her and she denied my request. Ignoring her actions I made my way upstairs to my room.

I shut the door behind me and opened my laptop. I clicked FaceTime and called Rose.

After a minute of ringing she answered. I smiled as her face showed on the screen.

"Hey babe" She smiled genuinely.

"Hey"
