As I'm pulling into the campus parking lot a wave of excitement mixed with nerves rushes over me. I can't tell which there is more of all I know is that if I don't get to a bathroom pronto I'll have a nice little mess in my pants. Not the best way to start college.

I see an older looking man in a CSU shirt and decide to ask him if he can help me find the main office building.

"Excuse me?" I say and he looks down to meet my gaze. "What?" he says seeming annoyed.

Definitely not a teacher.

"Um, I was wondering if you could show me to the main office building?" I sound like such a child. "Yeah, walk all the way down to that big tree right there and take a left. You'll see the sign from there." I thank him and he just rolls his eyes.

I do as he tells me and once I get to the tree I remember my mother told me to text her. I whip out my phone and send a quick text.

*I'm on campus. I'll call you later, love ya.*

Just as I look up a boy with blonde hair runs into me causing me to drop my phone and bags too. "Whoa! Sorry 'bout that!" he says with a thick Irish accent. "Uh, sorry. My bad I should've been paying attention." I look up and find that the attractive boy is staring at me. He shakes his head and says "Sorry, love. I'm Niall, I haven't seen ya round before."

Love?

"Um, yeah it's because it's my first day here." I say and I can't help the excitement that courses through my body when the words leave my mouth. " That explains it." he chuckles. The corners of his mouth curl up and I smile at the handsome boy.

"Sorry about runnin' into to you. Maybe I can make it up to you?" he asks. "No, no. It's okay. It was my fault." " No, really. Me and a couple of friends will be at my place. You should come! Plus...it's your first night of college! You'll have fun, I promise." I ponder the idea of going to a party of my first night of college. Everybody in college goes to parties so why not? "Um, sure. I'll be there." His face lights up and I grow nervous. It's not like I had plans tonight, I tell myself. This should be fun.

I hope.
