Bucky likes having a gym membership even if he doesn't rly need one, a coffee shop rewards card because it promises he'll be back, a parking spot that gets saved for him at the library. he leaves his notebooks lying around the apartment and puts up framed photos of him and his friends (old ones from the forties of steve)
these are all things that tie him to the world, little signs that say hey, bucky was here and he'll be around. after not being allowed to leave a trace of his existence for so long, so many years of being a ghost. Now that he's allowed to be here and leave his mark. it's nice.
He writes kind messages on bathroom stalls and leaves crisis support numbers under them.
