While Cristina was gone picking up the things they had ordered, Mackenzie's roomate showed up. Mackenzie and Meredith were both shocked when Addie walked in the room. She has to be around the same age as Mackenzie. Meredith was so glad Mackenzies roomate was another child prodigy.
The girl was also from Seattle and her parents were surgeons at Seattle Pres. When Addies parents had walked in Meredith almost fell over and died right there. JULIA? What are you doing here?    Mackenzie asked her mother what was going on. Mackenzie told her daughter, remember the story I told you of aunt Lexie and your fathers bestfriend Mark. Mackenzie said yes, but asked what this  had to do with them. Meredith said Julia here was Marks girlfriend at the time of aunt Lexie and his death. After he died no one ever spoke to Julia again. Julia was shocked to see Meredith again. Meredith asked what she was doing here. Julia told her that Addie was her daughter. Meredith asked Julia why she never told Mark about her daughter. Julia said, at that time, Addie was living with her father, just outside of Seattle and I didn't have contact with her. Julia asked when Meredith had Mackenzie because when Zola turned one that was Merediths only Child  at that point. Meredith told Julia the whole story while Addison and Mackenzie unpacked Addies things. Just a little while later Mackenzie got a text from Cristina. She told Meredith and they headed down to get her things. The people at the collage helped and they brought everything up in one load. Around the time they got up there. Addison was done unpacking so she helped Mackenzie unpack. Cristina was the last one in the room. When she saw Julia she stopped dead in her tracks. Julia has to tell the whole thing over. Cristina was shocked. As the adults were talking, they looked over to see that Mackenzie and Addie were mostly done packing and they were sitting on Addisons bed, which was parallel with Mackenzies. They were playing on Addisons phone. Mackenzie told Addison how she really wanted one and how she wished her mother would get her one. Just at that time Meredith asked Cristina, did you pick it up? She said yes and handed the bad to Meredith. Meredith walked over to Mackenzie and Addison when her hands behind her back. Meredith told Mackenzie, I have a surprise for you. Mackenzie was very anxious and asked Meredith what is was. she pulled out a bag that had an apple on it and gave it too her. Your father and I thought this would be a good time to give this to you.
