(chapter 2) "i was side tracked"

"hey! Pip squeak, wake up!" I said from my bed. she's been sleeping for hours, I honestly think she's dead. "hhhhgggg five more minutes..." she replied groggily. "if you sleep any longer you won't be able to 'kill' me" I said jokingly. "don't remind me..." she said, sounding a bit more awake. I got up and moved to my desk, tapping my fingers on it, trying to think of something to get her to wake up even though I don't like her that much, I was bored enough to talk to her. moments went by and I thought of something "I'm going to take a shower" I said a bit louder than normal "ok, just don't sing in the shower, i'm trying to sleep, and i don't need to have my ears blown out" she groaned into her pillow. I looked over at her while walking to the kitchen to make sure she wouldn't wake up while I snickered quietly and opened the cabinet and got a glass and filled it up with cold water. I filled it with ice then I turned to her and walked over to the side of her bed. about to pour it on her but I hesitated. "ugh" I said quietly pulling my arm back to my chest and then walking by her desk and putting the water down "I can't do it" I mumbled 'but why? what's so special about her? what's so special that you can't simply pour water on her, it's not like it's going to hurt her....' I thought, Walking back to the kitchen and grabbing a towel from the washer. then turning around to see... whats her name?.. oh whatever. so I saw pip squeak sitting in her bed rubbing her eyes. "oh look who's awake? did you have a good rest pip squeak?" I said in a joking manner as I walked by her and placed a hand on the doorknob of the bathroom. "stop calling me that... my name's Suger, Suger Dream and i'm guessing your name is sir. jerk-a-lot?" she said, 'but I told her my name already.. Did she not hear me..?' I paused. she sounded completely awake now at least. "well..Suger...it's not sir. jerk..a-lot, I would never be blessed to have such a fancy name but my name's Glitch, Glitch Saber, not so good to meet you" i did a small sarcastic bow and went into the bathroom and locked the door behind me before I could burst out at her.

he closed the door but thankfully didn't slam it. I got up and stretched then heard the shower turn on. I turned to my desk and realized there was some water on it. It looked untouched so I took it and drank some before jolting it away from my mouth then putting it back on the desk and thought 'why is this so cold?!' It probably wasn't even that cold but I didn't expect it to be cold so that was probably why it seemed like I was drinking water from Antarctica, but I just brushed it off and got some clothes and then remembered that he was in the bathroom and I felt exposed doing it in the middle of the room but he would think I was weird if he didn't already for not changing, so I just walked to the door and checked if it was locked. It was but now I needed to worry about my second problem; I knew people can take only three minutes to shower and its way past that so he could come out at any second. He could probably even faster than most since he doesn't have hair.. Then again his tail looks really fluffy and I doubt those wings are as easy to clean as mine. "think" I said out loud then saw a spot in the kitchen where if he walked out he wouldn't immediately see me so I walked over to that spot and changed as fast as possible, thankfully he didn't come out so I put my dirty clothes in the washer and turned it on then heard him- I mean Glitch say "awww why didn't you ask me if I had any dirty clothes?" he'd say, in a fake pitied voice. I jumped a small bit then turned to face him. He was still in a towel that was covering him like a girl would, not just around his waist, but I wont judge him. Maybe he has some tattoo that he doesn't want anyone to see. Or he just likes it that way. My eyes then drifted up to his face. When he said that stuff a little before he had a mischievous look but now he wasn't even looking at me. He was looking down off to the side. 'I didn't even look at him that long? whats wrong now' I thought as he glanced at me which looked like.. well I couldn't really tell what he was feeling. It looked like a mix of sadness, guilt, and worry. it was really sad to just look at, even though he has been pretty rude I wanted to make the guy feel a little less.. Uhm.. bad? but to be honest everyone deserves a..1..3rd chance...- "um hey...what's wrong?.." I said slowly, trying to think of the right words then I saw him shake like a shiver went down his spine "huh?! oh, sorry just got side tracked" he said, his voice was much nicer but still unsettling. he looked up at me and gave me a small, but fake smile. 'what in the world went through his head to start being this nice?' I thought. "Oookkk thenn"
