Love is Hard Part 1

Harry awoke as usual to that annoying blurriness. He reached out through his closed bed curtains and put his hand in the empty spot were his glasses were meant to be. Either they had fallen off the desk or ,the more disturbing option, someone had purposely moved them so Harry wouldn't be able to see when he got up.*Come to think of it did I close the curtains on my bed? I got back quite late from Quidditch and-*

"Ah Potter finally I thought you were going to sleep in forever" a voice broke into Harry's thoughts. He swivelled his head and saw a grey and green blur at the end of his bed. Harry tried to ask who they were and what they wanted but his voice was not responding and whoever they were must have cast a spell taking his ability to talk.

"I mean really how do you see in these things?" Harry recognised the voice when it came a second time. He relaxed and the blurred shape made a sort of movement , probably the counter spell, returning his voice.

"Draco? The hell are you doing in the Gryffindor tower?" Harry asked,his voice cracking a little obviously not used to him yet.

"I thought I'd get a warmer welcome. And can't I surprise my boyfriend once in a while?"Draco's blurry shape moved closer.

"You had me convinced-" Harry's sight returned as his cold glass were slipped onto his face by Draco. But as this happened Draco's lips met Harry's in a kiss.

They broke apart.

"Do you know how long it took me just to find the password to the Griffindor tower?" They both broke into laughter until they heard Ron's bed creek next to them. Even though school had started five weeks ago and it was now two days into half-term they had managed to keep their relationship under raps from everyone.

Harry through his hand under his pillow were he had left his invisibility-cloak. Pulling it out he through it around Malfoy and slipped out through the curtains.

"What were you laughing at?" Ron asked as soon as Harry had started to change.

"Oh urr nothing" Harry replied ,he knew this wouldn't cut it.

"Are you hiding something from me? It can't be that bad what, is your girlfriend back there or something?" Before Harry could stop him Ron had ripped open the curtains of his bed and yelled an incantation sending Malfoy across the room. He hit the wall and fell limp.
