Banging kept erupting on the front door,
"We know your in there. Let us in and we promise we won't hurt you!", the foul men yelled, laughing from the other side of the door. They found me, I was so careful with hiding my appearance from everybody but some how this clan found out I was a girl, the last girl on earth in fact.

I yanked clothes off hangers and pushed them inside my duffle bag stuffing other supplies and food in there as well. I grabbed all of my belonging that I could carry and raced downstairs. The front door was about to fly off its hinges with a just a few good kicks. I turned around my hair whipping in my face and sprint out the back door. I climbed over the fence and race through someone's backyard, yanking my short legs over there wire fence leading into a deep forest.

I run and run even though I can feel my lungs burning , desperate for air. My legs aches for rest but I push myself to go further into the forest until I know I have lost those disgusting excuse for a human being. I lay my head against the bark of a thick trunk and get my breathing under control. Only then do I realise that I don't know where I am. Thick trees surround me, identical in every way, making it impossible to know which way I came in. I slide down the trunk and bury my head between my knees. What if I die out here, all alone. Ha I never even had my first kiss, I'm 16 and and I'm going to die a virgin. A echoing scream pierced the air and I jolt up scanning the forest. I stand up slowly, making small cautious steps towards the scream. I use the tress and bushes to shield myself from the attacker.

I eventually come across a clearing out in the open no space to hide. I see a trail of blood across the grass and peer into the other side of the clearing, I see a small amount of smoke rise above the thick trees, most of it must not make it past the cluster of twining branches. I strain my eyes to see the faint shape of a window, it's a house! Oh thank god I won't die out here. My eyes glance back down at the thick blood dragged across the clearing. What if there's a killer inside the house? what if he kills me? Shit. Shit. Shit. But I don't have a choice I'd die out here anyway ugh. I peer again for the millionth time into the clearing debating if it's worth it to risk my life. The forest slowly starts to darken as the sun set and the sky turns into a warm orange and red ombré. I take one cautious step into the clearing and continue to walk becoming less nervous with each step. I sigh a relief when I reach halfway and relax a bit more. That's when I hear the safety click off of a gun, I immediately open my eyes staring face to face with a shiny silver gun pointed directly at my head and an angry yet attractive man with blood soaked into his shirt staring back at me
